I’m the founder and director of Logicare Systems Pvt. Ltd, an industrial automation company that’s been in the business for over 20 years.

What challenge were you trying to address with plan-a?

We sought their branding, website design, and social media marketing services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had some businesses we wanted to rebrand so that they could have a different identity. In order to do that, plan-a helped us finalize our branding identity. On top of that, they helped determine our branding position and developed a complete digital strategy for us.

They based the identity we wanted to create on the individual maintenance system we developed for our sister company. From there, they mapped a roadmap and examined the market we were approaching. The team had their standard questionnaires, including questions related to what we wanted from the brand and what we were expecting to see after. We reciprocated them with all the inputs needed at that time.

After finalizing our brand identity, plan-a designed our WordPress websites from scratch, taking into consideration our mission and vision. They also considered what content we should place on our platform.

The second part of the engagement was our social media activity where they helped us digitally transform all our business transactions. They handled our SEO and Google Ads efforts and spearheaded our Facebook marketing and product promotions. The team is now focused on one of our projects.

What is the team composition?

We’ve been working with about 3–5 people on this project, including a graphic designer, web and IT experts, and content writers. We initially hired three people and added others when required. They also engaged some external guys for marketing-related work.

How did you come to work with plan-a?

We worked together on some projects, and that was how I came to know about them. I was personally in touch with one of the people in their planning team, and when our project came, we were happy to work with him.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $25,000–$30,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in May 2017, and we continue to work together with plan-a. We've worked with them on about four projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very happy with what they’ve done for us. We’re pleased that their outcome is always great. 

How did plan-a perform from a project management standpoint?

plan-a perfectly meets deadlines. However, whenever they have multiple projects, there are times when it takes them some time to deliver the project because they’re only a small team. We use Microsoft Teams to communicate tasks and it also helps us in tracking our project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re passionate and their involvement in the project is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven't noticed anything. Everything has been perfect and according to my expectations.

They work well, which assures you that they’ll bring great results. Be sure to engage them when you need services in their area.

I’m the marketing director of a digital marketing company.

We needed help with web development and graphic design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

plan-a provides web design and development services. They deliver websites that are built from scratch using Shopify and WordPress. Their work includes writing the copy, designing graphics, and so on. We give them as much detail about our clients and their businesses to help the team.

For their work on our website, we’ve given plan-a our design requirements, color scheme, user flow, and other branding collateral. 

plan-a also helps us with on-site SEO and performance marketing. We’ve given them some sample keywords, but they’ve also done their own keyword research for some projects. In addition, they’re also helping us run several Google Ads campaigns. plan-a has also provided graphic designs for social media posts.

Some of their work is for our clients, and some are for our company.

What is the team composition?

Our primary contacts are Aditya (Founder) and Manjit (Client Services Manager). Overall, we regularly work with five teammates, but I’ve worked with ten people in total.

How did you come to work with plan-a?

A friend referred plan-a to me.

How much have you invested with them?

Our yearly spend is about $60,000 SGD (approximately $44,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2019, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website they’ve created for our company looks fresh and modern and is free of bugs. Furthermore, they build very professional and sophisticated websites for our clients.

In terms of customer retention, more clients stay with us for over six months, which is excellent. plan-a has really helped us achieve sales targets.

Additionally, plan-a has successfully boosted our clients’ rankings on Google. The team’s marketing work has also led to a 20% increase in conversions.

Overall, I’m very happy with their work.

How did plan-a perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was near-perfect. There’s room for improvement in terms of meeting deadlines, but it’s a minor issue. 

In terms of communication, we use Slack and WhatsApp. We also use Asana to keep track of their work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity and graphic design skills definitely stand out. plan-a is willing to work with us to overcome challenges — they’re a great partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

plan-a could definitely improve their internal training so the team can meet the standards of their international clients. 

Overall, plan-a is knowledgeable about what they do and adjusts fairly quickly to our requirements.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Maintain clear communication and set expectations very early on.
