We needed to create a scalable branding solution, develop a complete design system, and create an entire product design and planning strategy.

One of our clients needed a solution to create an economy for landlords and property renters. The idea was to establish a straightforward platform where users could explore properties, get in touch with landlords, and complete rental transactions. Additionally, a dedicated module was needed to manage all requests and tickets related to property maintenance and issues. Landlords would receive these requests and manage them accordingly.Pixlor Design Studio was responsible specifically for the UI/UX design of the platform. They focused on designing the user interface and user experience for the core property rental workflows, including property discovery, communication between renters and landlords, rental transactions, and the maintenance request and ticket management experience.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This was an innovative solution without any existing competitors or references. We required a robust design that was simple to adapt and accessible for all age groups. Successfully replacing traditional phone and email methods for maintenance requests would be considered a major achievement.We didn't have formal quantitative metrics or a structured user-feedback study to measure the design's impact. However, the key success indicator was creating a simple and accessible experience that could help users move away from traditional phone calls and emails for property maintenance requests.The design was specifically structured to make submitting, tracking, and managing maintenance requests more straightforward for renters and landlords. We received positive informal feedback from stakeholders, particularly around the simplicity and accessibility of the experience. The design made the maintenance request process more structured and easier to manage compared with relying on traditional phone calls and emails.Overall, Pixlor Design Studio had a positive impact on the project by helping us create a clean, intuitive, and accessible UI/UX for a relatively new concept. Their work gave us a clear user experience for property discovery, landlord-renter interactions, and maintenance requests.

User satisfaction was our primary target. Feedback surveys showed a 40% increase in user satisfaction. Our current distributors found it easy to access all product details, and we are also receiving many better incoming leads from new distributors.

The project involved optimizing our website to enhance its design and navigation, with a focus on a seamless product experience. Pixlor began by conducting a comprehensive audit of our product to identify areas for improvement. They then developed a strategic plan that included a detailed design system with variables and components, as well as screens for both the brand and the creator sides, informed by competitive research and established patterns.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design system Pixlor built gave us a real foundation to move from a services model to an actual SaaS product. Having consistent components and variables across brand-side and creator-side screens meant our engineering team could build against a single source of truth instead of improvising.
On the sourcing side specifically, the discovery and campaign brief flows they designed made it a lot easier for us to define how creator matching and outreach should actually work in the product, not just on paper. The work also fed directly into how we think about our ads and winning-ad screens down the line, since a lot of the UX patterns from the sourcing side carry over.

Pixlor was solid on communication throughout. We were mostly on Slack and virtual calls, and they were responsive when we needed to loop back on something or reprioritize. There were a few stretches where we shifted scope on our end (we were validating against a big backlog of PRDs as we went), and they adjusted without it derailing the timeline. Overall, they delivered what they committed to.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Honestly, it was how quickly they understood our product even though it's a fairly technical, agentic platform. They didn't just design pretty screens; they actually pushed back and asked the right questions about the underlying logic, which caught gaps between our product requirements and what was actually being designed. That back-and-forth made the end product a lot stronger than if they'd just executed exactly what was handed to them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Pixlor Design Studio could have done differently?

The main thing was around documentation staying in sync as things moved fast. There were a few Figma screens built ahead of us finalizing the written requirements, so we had a bit of cleanup work matching design to spec after the fact. Not a dealbreaker, just something to tighten up on a project moving as quickly as ours was.
