We looked for a design agency. We collected some references and recommendations from our network. After receiving a couple of proposals we chose Phenomenon. The had the best offer and made the most professional first impression on our team.

During the first meetings, we defined the work scope and expectations. After this Phenomenon team gave us a couple of mood boards to better understand our preferences. Our project contained Rebranding, Website redevelopment and redesign. We decided to parallel these parts as we had a deadline. We went through it page by page, element by element. Even after the project was delivered we are staying in touch. The guys are sharing with us tutorials about WebFlow and asking if we need any help.

We were working mostly with a manager Ksenia. She discussed the requirements with us and shared them with the team later.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our existing clients and investors are delighted with the outcome. Also, we've had a stable increase in website visits and engagement, thanks to Phenomenon Studio.

I hired a phenomenon to bring some life to our brand and provide UI/UX consulting. The goal was to bring some character to a serious problem. We commissioned app & website design, and website development.

We researched the industry and went with phenomenon based on their extensive portfolio. They had an excellent track record.

We had a kick off meeting to discuss the project, since then we've had weekly check-ins and excellent communication through slack. Every comment was listened to and heard. The tools used were Figma, WordPress, although we switched to Webflow later on. The design was very well received from stakeholders.

We have a fantastic product manager (Yuliya) who went above and beyond. We also had a dev and a team of designers and illustrators. All of the team we're talented and were extremely competent.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We're still measuring some results but qualitative feedback has been very positive. We've opened some doors having had some pitch-decks designed by Phenomenon which has articulated the problem we're solving well.

The team are extremely punctual with timelines and work fast - I've logged on to Figma late in the evening to see work being done! There hasn't been any stress from my side which is great and the output is always top notch.

The quality of the designs is fantastic. Also, the ability to work with us despite us being early-stage and needing to iterate quickly. The communication is excellent which is important to me when needing someone to clarify certain aspects.

The workflow went extremely well. Constant contact and collaboration in Slack with multiple meetings a week to go over progress and jam.

The speed and quality at which they were able to take a concept and some rough, half-baked wireframes and turn them into an amazing and functional consumer-level product. I am blown away by the quality of work done by Phenomenon Studio.

We had an introductory zoom meeting to discuss the project goals and ambitions, what we were capable of accomplishing, and then proceeded to get to work. The project started off with an in-depth market research phase, followed by a UI/UX design phase to ensure we were hitting our marks before we got started on development. We collaborated on several wireframes using Figma, then again on Design. We then proceeded with all the backend development and infrastructure, before finally hosting and deploying our website using AWS.

A project manager was our main point of contact. She helped manage and communicate with a UI/UX Designer, Graphic Designer/Illustrator, Back-End developer, and Front-End developer.

After launching our site our load-times were reduced significantly, making it easier for our customers to navigate our website and book services quickly. We also received several compliments from customers, and even competitors on the overall look and feel of our website compared to others.

We had weekly calls and communicated daily through Slack to ensure that nothing got left behind. We stayed on target and accomplished tasks quickly and efficiently.

the project is still being developed, we just had the UX research last week, so can't give more details as of now.

we used Skype to talk, and the project manager was always very quick.

I was surprised by how fast the research was delivered and how good it was on the first "delivery", we basically haven't changed anything. I just asked to add a new competitor and they added it but for the rest basically no changes.

we had a very good experience, consider that the UX research isn't a "big" task. so far I don't have any negative comment.

I like their minimalistic approach. There were some details that needed to be corrected, such as some of the text, which they did. Overall, I’m satisfied with the quality of their work.

They are quite communicative and have met most of the deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They came up with excellent designs and provide good value for money. It is a much better experience than I’ve had with other companies.

They could pay more attention to detail. For example, when I asked them to fix an issue, they fixed it on one screen, but not the other.

We were almost ready to start seriously marketing our product, and wanted to ensure that when we started doing so, we were able to give ourselves the best market position possible. Our primary route to this was reimplementing our app's UI and UX from scratch.

We needed our app to be really slick and fun to use before we started properly marketing it.

How did you select Phenomenon Studio?

We found a number of agencies and individual designers online who were interested in applying to work with us on this project and invited them to make proposals. We chose Phenomenon Studio on the strength of their UI work, and their strong focus on consistent and clear communication - something that is very much lacking for most design contractors and agencies.

After the agency provided their initial project plan and estimates, the project progressed totally on plan. Phenomenon met almost every target we set, and when it wasn't possible, were absolutely open and honest with us about what our expectations needed to be. Once these expectations were set, there was never any further miscommunication or misunderstanding, and the project was completed on time and to a very high standard of work.

The team was made up of one project manager and two designers. All 3 of these team members were personable, easy to communicate with and very skilled.

We haven't started implementing the resulting designs yet, but our focus group are very impressed with and excited to see more of Phenomenon Studio's design work integrated into our app and overall platform.

Phenomenon Studio designed the UI/UX for our platform. They created personas and user flows, mapping journeys for students, parents, teachers, and school administrators. They also designed low-fidelity wireframes, structuring core pages, including onboarding, dashboards, lesson views, quizzes, and reports.

Moreover, Phenomenon Studio defined our navigation architecture, creating a hierarchy for home pages, subjects, modules, lessons, and assessments. They also designed core platform screens for different user roles in Figma, including login, onboarding, interactive whiteboards, AI chat tutors, hints, assignments, progress trackers, dashboards, feedback, reports, payment, subscription management, and performance analytics.
