We needed a compelling sales pitch and investors deck. We are an edtech startup lookingto expand our operations into new markets in the region and raise capital. Pepper Studio helped us create and design a strong presentation with a great design and powerful storytelling.

I’m the founder and GM. We do food and beverage events with an specific theme in a rotational space.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pepper Studio, and what were your goals?

We needed branding, design and packaging for delivery services. Our goal was to have a fun/original yet elegant design for all of our needs.

How did you select this vendor?

I schedule calls and received 6 different proposals. Pepper studio provided the best design that aligned with our ideas. Pricing was similar to others but the experience and dedication was worth it.

We had an initial conversation so I could share my ideas and what was my business about. Then they send me a proposal with every step of the process. We had a midterm meeting to see the basics of the project. Final presentation was done in the timeline they planed. I wanted a couple of changes and they suggested something similar and it turn out great.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I work with the UI and UX designer. Both of them very easy to reach and always responded very fast when I needed something.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our branding ended up being great. Our clients loved the menu design (some of them even took them home). Our packaging design was great, talking with clients, they mention it was something memorable.

We had 3 planned meetings. We also had WhatsApp and email communication pretty consistently. Their timeline was 3 weeks and they were done in time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their understanding of the project, patience with changes, and helpful suggestions were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I’d have like to use more email than WhatsApp but overall everything was great.

We needed a company that could develop a website for our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pepper Studio built a website for us. It has intercom and projector features as well as an audio system. They also programmed the site so that we could listen to music in the background.

We chose to go with Pepper Studio for this project because of their friendly attitude and quick response time.

We spent $50,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from November 2021–February 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've only recently launched the website, so we have no quantitative metrics to share yet. However, I can confirm that we've received positive feedback from our users, specifically for the site's great usability and appearance. 

How did Pepper Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Pepper Studio performed well in terms of project management. They were incredibly responsive — they were quick to address our issues and request. They also delivered on time and within budget.

We primarily communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Pepper Studio was nothing but a great partner to us. We were most impressed with their orderly and proactive approach.

First step their team researched about what we want and the state of art Second step with all the input of the first step the Branding process started, where we got the logo, colors related to the brand. Third step the UX and UI process started with weekly deliveries of the designs

They were 3 resources, Maggie and Macla UX Designers and Sol UI Designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The deliveries during all the process were reviewed for the stakeholder and were accepted quickly because the designs were aligned to what the organization wanted.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There was a very agile communication using weekly video calls and a group chat, in this way any doubt was quickly resolved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The chemistry that exist between the members is notorious, so you know that the work will be excellent from the beginning

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They had a lot of experience, so they knew how to manage the process and guide the client throughout the partnership. For this reason I don’t have a feedback about the process.

I am the CEO of Control de Combustible Perú (CDC), a company that offers fuel saving oriented transportation and machinery fleets management consulting and solutions. We use GPS, fuel sensors and telemetry technology to help our customers, reduce their fuel expenses, prevent and detect fuel theft and manage their fleet efficiently.

We hired Pepper Studio to create a personalized management platform since the previous software didn´t offer the flexibility that we required to handle many of our processes that have redefined or changed completely since we start using it.

How did you select this vendor?

We reached them on the recommendation of acquaintances who had worked with their team previously and after meeting with them and other options we decided to work with Pepper Studio.

Pepper Studio started working with an alignment process, defining the objectives of the project running a cocreation workshop for us. In a second step, we defined the functionalities for the platform based on the necesities of our business and operational processes. Right now we are working on the UX/UI phase, we have weekly meetings to review the progress on the screens and flows of the platform, they also set up meetings to do the hand off to the development team.

We worked directly with two of the cofounders. One as a UX designer and the other one as a UI designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their deliverables are impecable and they always have a wow factor. They were excellent on the definition and navigating uncertainty of the early stages of the project. We already had a first experience doing our landing page with Pepper that’s why we hired them again and hope to continue progressing in long term projects.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working with them has been very easy since the beginning. From the cocreation workshop to each hand off and update meeting we feel they keep adding value to the project and our business.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about them is their experience and knowledge they show from having worked with many businesses from across many different sectors. They have surprised us many times with their ability to understand the problems of our organization, add value to our process and find solutions we haven´t identified ourselves.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far I haven´t find any important flaw in the project and their work. They have been very punctual and professional with all the meetings and deliverables we have had.
