The HR service agency provided comprehensive support in navigating BC, Canada employment laws, particularly focusing on hiring new immigrants and international students. They assisted in drafting key documents, including employment letters, probation letters, and termination letters. The agency also offered ongoing consultations regarding the legal procedures for terminating employees, ensuring compliance with BC HR laws and delivering relevant documents and best practices to ensure proper handling of employee matters.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a result of the project, the company now has clear and well-structured employment documents, with no reported issues from employees. All employees expressed satisfaction with their contracts. Furthermore, the termination process has been smooth and compliant with no complications or disputes to date.

Yes everything was delivered on time and in very effective manners. Their response is extremely fast usually within 24 hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am most impressed by their speed and responsiveness. The manager was always open and flexible, making it easy to set up online calls to discuss matters promptly. Their quick turnaround on providing solutions and addressing concerns made the collaboration seamless and highly efficient.

Kind Minds Family Wellness is a new nonprofit organization in Kitchener-Waterloo Region. We acknowledge diversity and cultural identities in our provision of short and long term culturally informed supports to our Black clientele.

Our specialty is in Afrocentric/culturally grounded counseling, education, employment and research advocacy that addresses anti-Black racism and systemic oppression and foster Black community empowerment/resilience, community services navigation supports, and the design and delivery of culturally suitable educational programs and groups for children, youth, caregivers/adults and seniors.

I am honored to be the Executive Director at Kind Minds Family Wellness (KMFW).

To hire several cultural group facilitators for our children, youth, caregiver and senior's programs.

What were your goals for this engagement?

To ensure that we had great candidates in a timely manner for all groups- the start dates were fast approaching.

To hire several cultural group facilitators for our children, youth, caregiver and senior's programs. We needed the facilitators to have great professional match as well as lived experience as Black identifying persons.

We needed their to understand several narratives of the participants and to also be very knowledgeable around the issues pertaining to Black identifying persons.

What was the team composition?

PARKER HR's intern was the contact person for me.

We have successfully hired 3 cultural group facilitators!

its an ongoing thing. having Gifty to deal with our HR side of the business has been a true game changer., not sure how I did anything without her!

Always on time and over exceeded my expectations.  They're quick to respond to emails and calls, and the project management has been excellent.

Gifty. I havent talked to many other people at PArker HR but Gifty knows her stuff! fast to respond and always sending me down the right path. She keeps me out of trouble.
