I am an international communications manager at a mining and metals company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pópuli?

We hired Pópuli for various video production projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our goal for the video was to show the first iron bar being produced in one of our new plants. Pópuli helped us with creating the story and producing the video. They visited the location and filmed with their own camera and drone equipment. We also relied on them for postproduction and editing.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with the director, the producer, the project manager, an editor, and a couple of cameramen. They have a big team, and around 20 people are involved with the production.

How did you come to work with Pópuli?

When we were looking for good audiovisual agencies, we asked around and found that they were the best in the region. That’s why we decided to work with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in the middle of 2019, and we have an ongoing relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve published the videos on all of our social media pages, and we’ve received numerous great comments. The feedback has been excellent, and their work has exceeded our expectations.

How did Pópuli perform from a project management standpoint?

As they are a big agency, their response sometimes tends to take long. However, we do communicate often via phone calls, Zoom, and Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creative campaigns and audiovisual production are very impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their response time could be faster, but that is something that can’t be helped with all big agencies.

Plan well and be clear on what your goals are.

We wanted to improve our digital strategy and grow our social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pópuli provided consulting services on digital strategies for us. We had a couple of meetings where we showed them the content and procedure for Facebook ads, social media channels, SEO, etc. Based on that, they proposed to indicate our weak and strong points, improvement proposals, and other things.

We worked directly with two members of their team. 

How did you come to work with Pópuli?

Our general manager found them directly and contacted them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2021–January 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project went great; we found many details that we still have to work on, but I'm delighted with their work. They made very good suggestions regarding our website’s UX, image use, and copywriting.

How did Pópuli perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated mostly via phone calls and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're great at branding and visual communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — they did a great job, and I have no complaints.

Be open to learning new things because technologies are constantly changing, and it is good to be up to date with the latest trends.
