I’m the CTO of ONE Ltd. We’re a SaaS company offering a product for the B2B e-commerce space. It’s a complex, enterprise solution that’s a combination of e-commerce and CRM for manufacturers and distributors that want to sell online.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with OTREE?

We wanted to change the layout and UI/UX of our software. Previously, it was dull and hard to navigate. Our objective was to have a design that was better than the new ERP system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re handling UI/UX designs and graphics for us. The OTREE team spoke with our customers to conduct market research and gain information on what customers use the most often. This allowed OTREE to know what to put on the landing page and how to guide the UI/UX from there.

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager and designers.

How did you come to work with OTREE?

I worked with Dawid (Partner & Head of Business) at another job. He’s professional so I decided to engage him for this project because I knew he’d be good.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $10,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m happy with their services; they’re professionals. Their team members are a combination of artists and IT experts; it’s a bizarre combination but it’s what stands them apart. They create art. Their work is beautiful. It’s not simple graphics. The designs are backed by research that addresses the flow and feeling of the customers.

I’ve shown the solution to people outside of my company, and they’ve complimented how nice it looks.

How did OTREE perform from a project management standpoint?

We work in an agile manner. When I need something, they’re responsive. I’m very happy with their services. I have no complaints.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understand our business so I don’t have to explain what I need. I give them orders and don’t need to include intricate details about what they need to do. Their team takes everything into consideration and provides us with feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should check their final work two or three times so there aren’t any bugs. They should discuss how they can give better quality in a shorter timeline.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try doing a smaller project with them first if you’re worried about committing to a big project.

Our site was designed around our brand identity and values, but we had difficulty converting users to leads.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to reduce the homepage bounce rate and increase the number of microconverts on our website.

We were looking for designers who would understand our brand, our goals and base their work on data analysis.

We started with a strategic workshop where we analyzed our challenges and set goals. Then, Otree created the designs of individual elements of the subpages that we implemented on our website.

The website struggled with many UX problems, lack of responsiveness and low conversion ratio.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal was changing the entire front-end to provide RWD, remove UX/UI problems and to grow overall conversion.

OTree worked previously with big e-commerce companies - especially form the B2B sector. Their experience was crucial.

The entire project was based on hard data and analytics. Then main goals and assumptions were implemented in InVision and Figma environment to simplify the designing and decision-making process.

Project rage was divided into 2 companies: 1. data analysis, redesign of UX/UI and RWD made by OTree 2. Programming process made by Softwarehouse.

Not yet - the programming process is still in progress.

OTree guarantees a high level of communication and a smooth workflow foundation.

I am satisfied with delivered project. All my comments from feedback during iteration process were applied to the project.

We have 2 face to face meetings, few calls and email contact. I found it very effective way.
