Web Development - React, JS, Python, OpenGL, ThreeJS, Solidity, Solidity Assembly, (ERC20-721-1155) Testnet and Mainnet Development for DAPP & Contracts. HTML, CSS, API & SDK integrations and development, VR, AR, AI Solutions, Social media integration to twitter, discord, reddit etc. UI/UX, Design & frontend platform development Web3 architecture / solutions, utility building, compliance, unit tests, code audits, QA.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When I met with Sikunj he was very confident and knowledgeable in the field of web3. I met one of his experienced teams and it seemed like a good fit. Also we wanted to work with a Canadian development agency.

Honestly it is too much to list. There has been extensive development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We came to them with our API which kickstarted the development, within 5 months we completed our MVP on testnet. We are now building toward a beta V1 on mainnet which I expect will be complete Q1 2023.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

While you do work with the team directly, there are levels of project management, its very organic and works well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They will always find a solution. I've seen it in action and it leads to a great product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have no complaints.

I'm the CEO / Co-founder of Scalene. We're a metaverse NFT factory with many innovative features to help creators fundraise and build their own Metaverse / 3D Game projects.

We hired Oprim to fill some gaps in our core team skill set. Specifically with IPFS nodes for decentralized file storage solutions, frontend UI/UX. We've built a fantastic API and Oprim is helping us make it available and accessible to people world wide and streamlining operational expenses.

We did a fairly extensive search before settling on Oprim. Web3 is a young industry and we felt that working with a Canadian agency that saw our project plan and responded with good ideas and enthusiasm. We felt we would execute faster by going with Oprim.

Agile Project Management style. Communication tools - Direct messaging w/ discord, google meet and also email.

We have direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas.

No issues, no roadblocks. Its been an excellent experience so far.

I’m the founder and CEO of my company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Oprim Inc.?

We hired Oprim Inc. to augment our development team to support the building of our platform. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Oprim Inc. has helped develop our web-based platform that insurance brokers use to automate and create more efficient workflows. They’ve worked with our in-house team. For the platform, they’ve used React, MongoDB, and Node.js. Their team uses GitHub to store the code.

The platform collects information from customers and then runs that information through dynamic processes connected with insurance companies. Then those insurance companies deliver prices and terms and conditions for customers. Customers can then compare and contrast those prices. Essentially, the platform is a digitized insurance process for business insurance. 

What is the team composition?

This project has involved three teammates, including two full stack developers and a scrum master. 

How did you come to work with Oprim Inc.?

We were referred to Oprim Inc. and were impressed by their knowledge base and insight into smart methodologies for development. Their owner is also based in Canada, which felt different from other off-shore companies.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $150,000 CAD (approximately $111,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in December 2021, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re in the middle of going live with the platform, so we’re not on the market yet. However, everything Oprim Inc. has built met my expectations. 

But ultimately, the key metric for this partnership will be the successful completion of the projects and modules Oprim Inc. was tasked with building. 

How did Oprim Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re happy with their project management — their delivery has been in line with our expectations. We’ve had daily scrum meetings to discuss the testing, during which we discuss any bugs that need fixing via Slack. We’ve used Google Meet to have video meetings with Oprim Inc.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Since their owner is based in Canada, we get the benefits of working with an off-shore team but have more local accountability to provide insights and support.

I appreciate that their team is smart and that dedicated developers are assigned to our project, which allows us to build a good relationship with them. They’re very diligent — I feel like Oprim Inc. is a part of our company and our team. We’ve built a good relationship with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t identify anything they can do better; I’m satisfied with the project. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Customers must ensure they’re properly planning and documenting their project upfront. It’s important to have clarity about what will be built; otherwise, you’ll just be wasting a lot of time setting up requirements during the development. Also, customers should be prepared to communicate and be a key part of the process. Partnerships are collaborative.
