Detailed research on Outcast, competitors, and the investment market will be conducted. Interviews with investors and entrepreneurs in the food industry will be conducted. Defining the vision, mission, and values, as well as establishing specific branding objectives will be done. Developing a personalized brand strategy, including visual identity, marketing language, positioning, and value proposition will be done. 

Implementing the brand strategy across all brand communication channels, including social media, advertising, events, and public relations will be done. Monitoring the performance of the branding strategy and adjusting the strategy according to market changes will be done.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project started with an initial immersion period of 30 days, comprising of two meeting rituals. One meeting focused on strategic discussions while the other was related to tactical and content approvals. The project continued for almost 10 months and was completed within the stipulated timeframe. The agency was flexible at all times, accommodating the needs of Outcast and our activities. 

The project was well-organized from start to finish, with clear agendas for all meetings, status updates, and agreed deliveries. The work was impeccable in terms of its shape, aesthetics, and organization.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Given the specific nuances of the financial sector in which our business operates, it takes time for an agency to fully adopt our vision. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the agency understood our business and the strategic notes that were crucial for our development. Observe Branding demonstrated a great balance between vision, strategy, and tactical direction for our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Observe Branding could have done differently?

We would like to continue working with Observe in a more tactical capacity beyond the strategic development phase. We understand Observe's position and greatly admire Gustavo's vision as a leader. We have worked with Observe and highly recommend them as an ideal partner for brand positioning.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and director of an agency that sends students to study overseas. Our main markets are Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Ireland. We’ve been operating for the last 14 years, and we have a lot of clients overseas.

What challenge were you trying to address with Observe Branding?

We’ve made a lot of changes over the last 10 years, but this was a very important time for us, so we decided to change our branding strategy. Everything is about online branding these days. Thus, we hired Observe Branding to help us change our visuals and create a communication campaign to get better positioning in the market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Observe Branding ran a deep study of our market to learn more about our clients. From there, they worked on our new visual identity. Then, they ran communication and Google Ads campaigns for us, and they worked on our on-site’s SEO.

What is the team composition? 

We worked with around three people from Observe Branding. There may have been more people involved, but I was only in contact with their director and a manager.

How did you come to work with Observe Branding?

I did some searching and had a few companies write us some test code. Ultimately, we chose Observe Branding because they had the most experience, and they were the youngest and most modern-thinking team. Our clients are 22–25 years old, so our brand needed to be fun.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around 3,000 Brazilian reals (approximately $540 USD) per month, but we paid separately for special campaigns and other work outside of the scope.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Observe Branding around two years ago, in 2019. Our relationship continues, but we’ve paused our activities because of COVID-19.

Observe Branding’s work was more amazing than we expected — I’ll definitely recommend them to other companies.

How did Observe Branding perform from a project management standpoint?

Observe Branding was always happy to talk to our sales team and get their feedback. They were very open to communication. We communicated through email and WhatsApp, and they used to come to our office.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Observe Branding’s branding strategy expertise was impressive. I saw a lot of their work for other big clients, and it was amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they worked from our office more often. However, I know that they have to share their time with other clients.

It’s always important to make it clear what your main goal is.
