We worked closely with 2 account managers and we also communicated with the founder.

Increase to media coverage, expanded relationships with analysts, steady flow of press releases, more case studies.

The account manager we were assigned was always timely in her responses, we also had a wonderful team of writers and checked in with us often. I was very impressed with all the team work ethic!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They did very strong work to earn us positive media coverage for our funding and product launches. One product launch earned 2x, another close to 3x the results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There always are but nothing leaps to mind right now.

I connected with them through a referral by one of my partners who utilized their services. After interviewing several PR firms, I decided that BA content most aligned with our business needs and approach to forming relationships.

At the beginning of each plan, they take the time to understand who we are and what makes us unique from others in our industry for our goal. They then create a roadmap for the messaging and who we should be targeting and then execute those plans.

Vicky was my account manager and we also communicated with Ben - the founder of BA Content.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have complete confidence in their ability to write content that matches our tone. They provide a monthly recap of all of the successful media we’ve had in the previous month. They measure the number of stories we’re featured in. There are very few publications in the industry, and they’re able to get us in those regularly. Since we’ve employed them, we’ve maintained a regular presence in all of the industry publications and been featured at least once a month in the needed magazines.

We prefer to have a meeting once in a month just so they share the results with us and that is totally fine for both sides.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They truly are a team of good people—they’re in it for the long run to get the best results. Rather than trying to nickel-and-dime someone, they work hard to find the right audience for our message. They guide the entire process from A to Z. They’re smart, creative people who know exactly what we’re trying to do.

They’ve done a great job for us and the results speak for themselves, so I don’t have any areas for improvement.

We were previously with another agency but wanted to switch to a new one. I wasn’t a part of the initial scouting, though I know we met BA Content & PR through recommendations from other people we knew in the industry. Out of the 4–5 agencies we looked at, BA just seemed like they were the best fit for us because they had the most to bring to the table.

We hired BA Content & PR to be our PR firm and drive our US brand awareness. We signed contract and they were handling all of our relationships with key editors and the press. They’ve done bigger, one-off campaigns, but we really rely on them for more of the day-to-day management of our US PR.

I worked with Vicky (Account Relationship Manager), Pauline (Business Development Manager), and Ann (Assistant Account Executive).

In terms of deliverables, they do press releases and content campaigns as well as helping us create PR send-outs. We normally do 4–5 bigger send-outs per year. The team also works with the opinion leaders to make sure they’re talking about us.

All the projects that we’ve initiated with them have always run incredibly smoothly. Everything was always on time and executed to an amazing standard, too. We had biweekly meetings and spoke through Slack and email. If there’s an issue or if something comes up, their team has great communication.

Their professionalism, results, and the overall ease of working with them are impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

That’s hard to say... I don’t think there’s anything they could’ve improved on given the circumstances.

The most impressive thing about them is how organized they are. They report everything to us clearly, and they never drop the ball. Whether it's following up with us to get something submitted, listening to our feedback or providing us with reports of their work, they are always on top of it.

They take the time to listen and understand what your company does, and I think that’s the key to it. They try to understand you, what you offer, and your market, which means they are more in tune with your needs.
