Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the sales and marketing manager at Kron Technologies, a high speed camera manufacturer based in Burnaby, BC, Canada.

For what projects/services did your company hire Nura Creative?

We hired Nura Creative to help us create more products shots and showcases videos for our brand. We needed new eyes, hands and brains and a very professional quality of work.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to obtain branded content for our website, social media and monthly newsletter in order to bring a fresh look and style.

How did you select Nura Creative?

Nura initially emailed us, introducing themselves and describing their services (offered at a very fair price since they were building their portfolio!). Since they were a local company, demonstrated a lot of flexibility, seemed very serious and were excited for new challenges and experiences, we had no problem kicking this project off!

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We started with a couple of introduction calls to cover everyone's expectations and break down the project into meaningful steps. We gathered most of our ideas into a Google sheet, agreed on a timeline and deliverables.

I then met Ed and Sargon in person in order to officially kick off the project and get to know them even more. They took everything from there, were able to use our high speed cameras very and within a month, delivered 26 still photos, 1 impressive showcase video and A BONUS: 8 professionally-looking Instagram promo stills.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with Ed and Sargon. Ed was the project lead, while Sargon was in charge of taking the shots/videos and doing the editing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We proudly started using the awesome content they created for us during important meeting with the company's stakeholders, participation in government grants (successfully received!) and in our monthly newsletters.

We have seen an increase in email open rates and a clear increase in our social media engagement, people have complimented us about how great the content is. This work helped us achieve brand integrity!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Nura Creative team is very hands-off, has a lot of creativity and cares deeply about quality. Their practice of active listening and high level of flexibility are unique strengths nowadays!

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would recommend them to work on their self-confidence because they have great skills. In addition, offering a broader variety of models for product shots and videos would be very helpful. Amazing work, the team has a lot of potential, we are excited to follow their success closely!

I am the Co-Founder of Monte & Coe, a luxury travel essentials brand based in Toronto.

We hired Nura to help execute product shots of a new wallet, passport holder and travel accessories. They also executed branded stop motion videos.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to create branded content for social media marketing and content marketing strategies to help elevate the brand image and create more engaging content.

How did you select this vendor?

Nura reached out to Monte & Coe looking to build out their commercial portfolio. For this project, we felt confident working with NURA because they spoke professionally, were willing to try new ideas and ultimately were super flexible.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

From the original discovery call, they were very professional and easy to work with. After a series of introductory and discovery calls, we ironed out a spreadsheet with over 50 shots to be executed by their team. Together we ideated on various types of content creation ideas and worked very closely to ensure the vision for the project was well executed. Monte & Coe provided products and guidelines and over the course of a few weeks, Nura was able to produce over 50 edited images ranging from still photos to stop motion videos.

I directly worked with Ed, the owner of the company in all stages of the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Due to Nura's quick turnaround time we were able to launch a new wallet in time for Father's day resulting in a 189% increase in sales from the same weekend in the previous year. We have begun building out our Youtube channel as well as blog posts that will support the youtube videos to bring value to our customers and prospects. All team members were impressed with Nura's work, especially the stop motion videos.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Nura's communication was top notch. They worked well independently and asked questions when needed. Together we worked of a google sheet to ensure all KPI's were delivered. When changes were asked of Nura Creative, they adapted quickly and took direction well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Strong communication paired with minimal supervision making the experience hands-off for Monte & Coe. In the past, I have been present at shoots to help the photographers with direction and the fact that this process was done remotely sets them apart.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As a young brand, I look forward to watching Nura grow. My suggestion for Nura would be to ask for brand guidelines when working with companies to ensure the brand voice is understood upfront. This could save some back and forth with regards to logo requests, image style, etc.
