In addition, they sourced and integrated music that reinforced the tone and emotion of the piece. Their contributions resulted in a high-quality final video that seamlessly incorporated narration, curated b-roll, editing, transitions, and music—delivering a cohesive and engaging employer brand asset aligned with our messaging goals.

 The success of the project is being measured through viewership and adoption across multiple platforms. The employer brand video is actively being integrated into company-wide channels, including our corporate website, career pages, LinkedIn, and internal communications platforms. Early performance indicators, such as views, shares, and watch time, show that the video is resonating with its intended audiences and effectively communicating our story. In addition, the growing adoption of video across business units will demonstrate its value as a core asset in consistently promoting our employer brand at scale.

This was an absolutely massive production that required multiple months of prep and exicution to deliver a library of content to launch a new line of automobiles. Hundreds of still assets across 19 vihicles, a dozen video assets ranging from longform explainers, high concept edited branded films, and broadcast TVCs, along with multiple formats for web and social.

Put simply, largest sales in history, with a desire to work with them immediately. Plus a library of content that continually performs well beyond the scope of their expected lifetime.

They had a dedicated team that was ready for any change we needed to make, which allowed them to stay on-time and in budget. I’m the VP of a construction management company.

We wanted to bring marketing relevance to our potential clients. Our goal was to produce a video about our company that included client testimonials.

No Frames has produced a video to show our company culture alongside some client testimonials. The video is filmed and not animated. 

During the creative process, the team interviewed us and sent us a questionnaire that was fairly in-depth on culture, asking us what we wanted to convey. They then came back with suggestions on how they wanted to approach the video production. No Frames was also in charge of audio mixing and editing.

I researched firms that produced company videos, and No Frames came up on the internet. We received proposals from four firms and interviewed three of them — No Frames ended up being the successful team.

We’ve invested $6,000–$8,000.

We started working together in May 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

No Frames stays within our budget and communicates with us consistently. They also meet deadlines. If there’s been any slip in deadlines or schedules, it’s on our end. To communicate, we use regular emails and phone calls.

The team understands our culture and brand, and they’ve used those to represent us in the video fairly successfully.

Having something typed out in terms of where we’re going and what times things are going to happen will be great. This may be a written schedule or agenda that we can share with each other.

Be open-minded. No Frames has great creatives, so you should allow them to challenge you. They may have some unique perspectives on the project.

I have a production company where I’m an executive producer. I also work for a nonprofit where I’m a senior producer that creates video content, photo content, podcasts, and graphics.

What challenge were you trying to address with No Frames?

The most recent project I worked with them on was a film shoot in Nashville. I had an issue sourcing the crew, and they took over to make it happen, working with all our other vendors.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

My client for this project was a PR company that needed promotional and marketing materials for a hotel chain. We organized the preproduction and set it up. Some of our parameters were locked in, such as we had a certain amount of time constraints, the location, and the celebrity talent that was required. No Frames helped me secure everything I needed to make it happen, which allowed me to focus on what I needed to focus on.

My client provided the creative direction for the video, but No Frames helped me prepare for the video. They helped me get the necessary ingredients to make it happen: the people and the technical equipment (lights, cameras, etc.). The equipment was a combination of their own equipment and items they secured from vendors.

I handled the editing and sound myself.

I mainly work with their cinematographer, but Erin (Executive Producer) did some of the production work.

Our total video for the budget was around $25,000, and No Frames was paid around ¼ of that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’re very consistent. I’ve known them for many years, and what makes them stick out from the rest is that they do production in many different places. Whenever I have to shoot outside of New York, they’re one of the first companies I reach out to. Even if I have to shoot outside the country, they have the resources to handle it. People loved the video, too. It was released on Instagram, TikTok, and more.

How did No Frames perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been awesome in this regard. It’s fun working with them. We didn’t use any project management tools, but we communicate over email, phone calls, and Google Meet. Since we work on location, we text each other as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that they can locate resources in many different places is awesome. A lot of vendors in this space work well in one place, but No Frames has established themselves in multiple places.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I come from working on big productions, so working on a smaller project for Instagram requires us to scale down and use a different approach. It can be hard to convince our clients to spend the money and time to work like this, but when they see the end product it’s all worth it.

Be prepared with what you know. Once the project begins, it’s easier to add to what you want if you already know what you want. It also makes it easier for an outside vendor to help you.

No Fames was in charge of directing and producing our client's brand video, based on our initial brief and the overall band strategy. We started with an initial concept for the video – which was then developed further by No Frames towards the end result. The team at No Frames worked on film direction and cinematography, casting actors in NY, scouting and booking locations, planning the filming days in Helsinki and NY, pre-selecting the voice over talent and selecting the soundtrack.

Frankly, there is nothing that I wish would have gone differently – and that is a lot due to the fact that their team is always open to feedback, flexible in thinking, ready to adjust and go the extra mile at any point. And that is all you need when you really work together as a team on a project. You go towards the finish line together and you are proud of the work you do. No Frames is that kind of a partner.
