What challenges were you trying to address MY CHOICE GLOBAL?   

We hired MY CHOICE GLOBAL to help us with LPL and international shipping. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We give them the information about where we were shipping packages, dimensions, weight, etc. They present us with options and cost estimates, then we select the best choice, and they go ahead and book the shipment. 

Now, we have an online portal for LPL shipments, so the process is even more streamlined. 

What is the team composition?

I work with a team of about four. 

How did you come to work with MY CHOICE GLOBAL?   

They actually called me. They were persuasive and appeared to have great customer service. The shipping company we were working with previously was difficult to get ahold of. I liked that with MY CHOICE GLOBAL, it was easy to communicate. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve probably spent around $20,000-$30,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020, and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m happy with their work. I’m always able to get ahold of someone, and they’re great at troubleshooting situations that may arise with delays or changes. They’re a tremendous help in regards to international shipping because they take care of all the logistics involving customs and other regulations. 

How did MY CHOICE GLOBAL perform from a project management standpoint?

I would say they’re organized pretty well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service and outreach are impressive. They take care of us more than any other shipping company I’ve worked with. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven’t had a single complaint about the company.

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

I absolutely recommend them to anyone. I’ve already referred them to some of my colleagues in the industry.

I’m a co-owner and operations manager of Vyking Ship. We do international shipping and forwarding.

What challenge were you trying to address with MY CHOICE GLOBAL?

Our team wanted to switch companies to handle our postage logistics. We weren’t happy with the company we were using.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Choice Global is the company we get all of our postage through. They handle all the carriers for us, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Essentially, they have a direct hand in everything we ship.

What is the team composition?

There are three points of contact we interact with weekly as well as an accounting point of contact that’s accessed less frequently.

How did you come to work with MY CHOICE GLOBAL?

I’ve known Raymond (President) prior to him working with Choice Global. I chose them because they offer lower rates than any other company.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $900,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in April 2018, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Choice Global constantly works to improve our shipping rates. We’ve worked with other companies, and the biggest difference with them is their responsiveness. For example, we were being overcharged for our DHL shipping while we were with a previous company. Our team pointed it out to them, but they were slow in taking action. It took over two years to reimburse over $60,000 of overcharges.

Choice Global acts quickly to resolve overcharge issues if they occur. They immediately start the inquiry process. Often times, billing issues happen when a new discount is implemented. When I reach out, they respond within an hour.

In fact, we’ve switched all of our shipping to go through them because of the quality of their work. Most of the time there aren’t problems, but if there are, Choice Global fixes them quicker than other companies we’ve experienced.

How did MY CHOICE GLOBAL perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve done three or four larger integration projects that involve switching over to different carriers. Every time our offshore web developer needs information, I reach out to Raymond, who immediately reaches out to whomever necessary for the information needed. When those resources don’t get back to him right away, he’s more frustrated than I am.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attentiveness and ability to get things done quickly are impressive. Choice Global is a smaller team, and we receive direct communication right away. Their responsiveness really shines when problems occur. Choice Global is efficient in resolving issues, and they don’t drag their feet.

For example, a couple of years ago we had a shipping issue where a company caused a problem through an update they did. We let them know about the problem they’d created, which in turn knocked out all of our USPS shipping for three days. They had to go through multiple layers of staff before someone took it seriously, apologized, and fixed it. If that had happened with Choice Global, they would’ve fixed it immediately.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing is that their outsourced software development company isn’t very attentive. Perhaps when given a choice of software companies in the future, they should go with a company that’s more in line with Choice Global regarding customers being first and organizational skills.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Reach out to them and see what opportunities are available. Choice Global offers a lot of things we don’t take advantage of, and they’re always looking for new things to get into. They also have a referral program.
