3. The successful delivery of the initial design allowed the internal UX designer to continue expanding and enhancing the interface independently, supporting ongoing product development and customization.

Project management was primarily handled on our side, which suited us well. Neverhund successfully managed their portion of the project, consistently delivering items on time. They not only stayed within the allocated budget but also had enough time left for us to assign a few additional, unplanned tasks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most about this company was their deep understanding of the specific context in which the UI would be used—in our case, industrial manufacturing. They didn’t rely solely on typical design patterns commonly used in websites or consumer mobile applications, but instead tailored their approach to meet the unique needs and challenges of our industry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Neverhund could have done differently?

I would recommend closer collaboration with web developers who can create HTML/CSS prototypes based on their designs. Often, it’s more convenient for clients to receive both the design and the functional prototype together, streamlining the review and implementation process.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As part of the project, interviews were conducted with our specialists, customer portraits and basic scenarios for using the site were compiled. The interface of the main screens was designed taking into account the specifics of our corporate CMS platform. 

The structure of the site was also designed, the texts were planned and written, their “cosmetic” search optimization was carried out, and images were selected for all pages. Before and after the launch, the Neverhund team conducted an audit of the site, and we received a list of necessary corrections.

The site launched on time and with the highest possible level of quality at that time. We received a new working tool, and users liked this tool. The calls came and the sales started.

The agreements on the schedule and scope of work were largely observed. Throughout the entire project, there were some rough spots on various issues, but Neverhund colleagues responded immediately to all our comments: they changed, improved, and took them into account.

High professionalism and care for clients - both about the end users of the site, and about us and our business tasks. And another very important point — Neverhund's colleagues were deeply honest. They know well what they are professionals in, and on what issues it is better to turn to other specialists, all issues are discussed directly and openly, so there is a clear understanding that you will not be deceived here.

More strictly adhere to deadlines.

My client, Estonian startup, wanted to build online platform for construction professionals. As my company does not have in house UI/UX experts and web designers to produce mockups, we contracted Neverhund team to elicitate requirements and design mockups, also equip mockups with detailed specification that helps developers during implementation. Neverhund provided us with: 

• UI/UX mockups delivered in Axure 
• Detailed specification for mockups 
• Web design elements and styleguide

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Design artifacts were delivered with the expected quality and quantity (all screens we asked about). We also paid an agreed fix price.

We had a contact with Production manager from Neverhund who was easily reachable by Email and in Slack chat, and were able to host regular weekly meetings over Google Hangouts to track progress, provide feedback and ask or answer questions. Deliverables were provided to us as soon as they became ready: screen by screen, so we were able to feedback and our feedback was quickly addressed. 

In general we were able to stick to the timeline we forecasted. Small delay (about 2 weeks) can be attributed to holidays happend in the middle of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Customer-centricity, obsession with details and quality of communications - all were really equally impressive. We were sure that we are valued customer and receive a good care from Neverhund account manager and from production manager. When needed, we were also able to talk to designer to ask why she proposed specific approach - that was also helpful to appreciated to talk to professional who is actually assigned to our project, not only to managers in the middle.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Neverhund could have done differently?

As I am not an expert in UI/UX design, so I cannot advise here. Administration and project management side do not require any improvement from my perspective, they are mature.
