What challenge were you trying to address with MWC Accounting?

We needed someone we could trust to handle our accounting.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When we first started as a business, I only had a personal accountant. Now, Mike (President & CPA, MWC Accounting) has taken over our accounting and taxes. I speak with him about every eight weeks.

What is the team composition?

Mike has been my primary contact.

How did you come to work with MWC Accounting?

I was referred by someone who mentioned they liked Mike. We were looking at a few other firms at the time, but after I talked with Mike he made the immediate steps clear and I felt comfortable with him from the start.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent about $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in July 2008 and the relationship is currently ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We've been able to prepare and file our taxes accordingly. We’ve been able to handle quarterly and get ready for future years based on previous information, which has helped us succeed. The fact that our numbers are correct and we are doing everything correctly when we file is the best success I could ask for from an accountant.

How did MWC Accounting perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. They’re always communicative and keep me updated.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mike is very knowledgeable and has been helpful throughout. I think my taxes are fairly complicated, in terms of having multiple businesses, and they haven’t had any issues with anything. Each year there are these subtilities that we share with them and they’re all captured into the accounting. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’ve been super happy with them.
