I'm lead product manager @Nimley. @Nimley we do outbound emailing campaign for more than 50 customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mozza?

We needed a dashboard for presenting the main kpis to our customers. No one @Nimley has a real experience in UX design. So We needed a real UX oriented mind to set up the best dashboard.

Describe the project in detail.

Designing a dashboard with 4 pages presenting the main stats and giving the possibility to compare the efficiency of the differents campaign. An other page giving the possibility to see the futur of the campaigns.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to this dashboard we completely change our relation with our clients (1 customer success manager was able to manage 5-10 clients and now he is able to manage 20) and the clients are even more happy than before.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. We iterated twice a week with detailed emails.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Adrien perfectly understood our problem and he was able in less than 2 days to give us one expert in UX design that also had a clear vision of what we wanted. I've been impressed by the team's efficiency and how they responded to our problem but also challenged us with the vision of the Dashboard.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the co-founder and product owner of OurCo, a mobile app aiming to enable anybody to speak freely at work thanks to an anonymous and secure space.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mozza?

We wanted to get feedback on our previous mobile app, with a focus on improving the UI/UX.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a user-friendly app that would prove valuable.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

They were recommended by a lot of product people I know. We exchanged a few emails before we met in person. I was impressed by their honesty about our project, so I decided to hire them.

Describe the project in detail.

They met with us after reviewing our original app. They told us that while we could improve the existing UI/UX, it would be better to start over. They challenged us and made us realize that we had too many features and we weren’t focused on the user. We worked with them to simplify our user stories, starting with a blank page. After a few more meetings, they provided some wireframe sketches for the new app, and we then did user testing.

What was the team composition?

I spoke with both Maxime (Co-Founder and UX Designer, Mozza) and Adrien (Co-Founder and Mobile Growth Consultant) during the first meeting. Maxime took charge of the production of the wireframe and the user tests.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They made us realize that we needed to change directions, and we positioned ourselves for a necessary restart. We also started our new product with a clear idea of what we wanted to achieve and how we were supposed to do it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were readily available and we communicated weekly by email or SMS. We also had some face-to-face meetings in order to exchange feedback on their work.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were honest and friendly. They didn’t expect payment for their first review of our app because they wanted to make changes to our idea.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could have worked faster, but that’s mostly because it took us time to accept the necessity of starting over. The wireframe also could have been more detailed, but we clarified everything during our face-to-face meeting.
