For what projects/services did your company hire Mooviemakers, and what were your goals?

I used Mooviemakers to produce a demo for a new online video based service for estate agents. I wanted a snappy, punchy and visually exciting presentation that grabbed the viewer's attention and got all the necessary details across fast.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had seen Mooviemakers excellent animations before on You Tube. I liked the style of production and the level of detail which seemed to go into each production. Yes, I suppose I could have gone for a budget option but I wanted a UK based producer who I could liaise with...and I often find that going cheaper is usually a false economy.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

I had a script and voiceover already sorted so I passed on my brief ideas to Steve at Mooviemakers. I explained what I was after and how it would be used. A few days later I saw the first version which was great. There were a few minor tweaks (which were down to me) but otherwise it was brilliant and I soon had a copy that I could sign off.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Steve at Mooviemakers is brilliant and I know he's worked on many similar explainers and animated productions so he knows what works. The little feedback I did give him was acted upon swiftly.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is an ongoing one so I can't share those details.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

I communicated with Steve via a Teamwork application which is great and saved me looking for previous emails as all files and correspondence are kept together, which with an animated explainer project could involve numerous scripts, audio files, logos and photos.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have the ability to interpret ideas and turn them into a superb animated explainer video in an engaging way. Plus Steve is a down to earth professional which always helps when you looking for someone to guide the way!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't think so. I loved working with Mooviemakers on my animated explainer and I genuinely can't think of anything from the experience that could be improved upon.
