Mira Commerce is integral to our web development strategy. They help us deploy new campaigns and assets to advertise new products and services. With their support on the development side of our websites, our company has grown exponentially in the past few years and expanded with the launch of new brands, all of which Mira manages when it comes to web development. 
Since our business is primarily conducted online and through our digital assets, Mira has played a significant role in helping us achieve our growth goals.

Mira's project management is top-notch, and their ticket system is very well organized, thorough, and detailed. Mira Commerce was brought on to assist in architecting a new headless tech stack and bringing this to life by developing a best-in-class ecommerce application.  This consisted of the below deliverables:

• Assist in selecting partners and solutions to meet our UX requirements
• Implement partners into our new application via API and scripts
• Architecture of sandbox, staging, and production environments across multiple platforms
• Pass all Core Web Vital KPIs on desktop and mobile experience
• Pixel perfect development of UI that was deliver via Figma by our internal team
• Development of complex custom configurator
• QA and deployment of application
• Ongoing support

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Mira was able to deliver and launch the project on time and within budget.  Below are a few highlights of the launch:

• Massive site speed improvements with Core Web Vitals in the green on both desktop and mobile
• Conversion Rate and AOV increases YoY
• Significant topline revenue increases YoY

Mira Commerce did a fantastic job managing this project.  They were able to quickly respond to changes/challenges that came up during the build, as well as make recommendations on potential options to solve these hurdles. We/Staccato also were responsibile for certain aspects of the migration/build, and their team helped drive these tasks to completion. Their team was extremely responsive to change requests and always available to help brainstorm new solutions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Mira Commerce is much more than just an SI agency, they truly become your partner.  The team at Mira is beyond helpful in navigating the composable commerce space and without their expertise our launch would not have been as successful.  We were very lucky to have Mira on our side.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mira Commerce could have done differently?

There aren't many things that stand out.  The only issue we experienced was the development methodology at the beginning of the project, but that was quickly addressed without significant impact.

When I took over the marketing role at DM, we were mid-project on a recommendation feature and continued our contract to help with SEO/Bundling. The product recommendation feature on our site allows us to pair the perfect complementary product with whatever a customer is shopping for — improving the overall shopping experience while also raising our average cart value, all while properly recommending products the customer would still need to shop for. SEO/Bundling was the other major project. Although the bundling project fell through (due to BigCommerce, not Mira), the team stepped up to help with the SEO and AEO project in its place, and we've been happy with the progress and how hands-on the team has been.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're outperforming last year overall — average cart value has increased, and we're now executing on the fundamentals (SEO/AEO basics) that weren't being addressed before.

Their project management has been strong — they consistently delivered items on time. We have a small team here at DM, and they were patient and accommodating, working on our timeline rather than forcing their own, especially during my transition into the role early on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What's most impressive is how hands-on they are — they're willing to jump in and help even with problems outside their assigned scope. I also appreciate their patience and how easy it is to reach them whenever we need to.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mira Commerce could have done differently?

The Jira board they operate on can be a bit confusing at first, though it becomes easier to navigate once you spend some time in it. That said, this may also be partly because I was thrown into the marketing role here rather suddenly, without much ramp-up time.

Mira Commerce helped us migrate our website from Shopify to BigCommerce. The team transferred all product images, product information, website information, online store locator, and more.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Every challenge we ran into was fixed and addressed by the Mira Commerce team. We had a few technical challenges with our products and some website framework issues. The team identified where the challenges started and put together a plan to fix the issues. They also made some adjustments themselves.

We tracked all project-based metrics weekly on Jira. Each new objective was listed as a sprint, and the results were tracked in each sprint. The objectives included the initial site transfer, PDP page setup, product information transfer, analytics setup, PLP page implementation, and more. These objectives were integral to our business continuing to run smoothly and efficiently.

There was no downtime on our website, and we continued to use the website as expected. Our customers loved the new look and feel of the website. They specifically liked the ease of use and the overall look of the new website.

How did Mira Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was fantastic. Mira Commerce delivered on time and responded well to our needs. We had the best communication we’ve experienced working with a collaborator. We used Slack, email, and Jira for communication.
