Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm an IT project manager for a company called Matic SA. We’re a hardware and software reseller, and we develop software as well. We have our own software, but we also sell other companies' software.

What challenge were you trying to address with Million Monkeys Software?

They are responsible for delivering the .NET developer platform (NDP) of my project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We work in sprints and have a set KPI every two weeks — that’s how they’ve structured the work. Also, they only take care of the development aspect of my project.

What is the team composition?

The number of people keeps changing, but we usually work with about 5–6 individuals from their side.

How did you come to work with Million Monkeys Software?

I don’t know because they were already a partner before I joined the company.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent close to €100,000 (approximately $105,000 USD) so far.

What is the status of the engagement?

We began working together in January 2020, and our partnership is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Despite having some problems with the terms of our project, they’re doing okay and have addressed all the problems with our software. Overall, the quality of their work isn’t exceptional, but it’s still good overall.

How did Million Monkeys Software perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve had some difficulties in terms of meeting deadlines, but we’ve addressed this issue together and have seen some slight improvement. In the end, they’ve managed to deliver what’s expected from them. We use ClickUp to manage and track the progress of the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very good at theoretical work, especially with advanced libraries. They also have their library for grants that they’ve been developing with us, which is very impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to be more strict with following deadlines.

Make sure to work with Million Monkeys Software on your development project as soon as possible — their team is full of ideas.
