• Wide multilingual reach: Milengo enables us to deliver content in more than 40 languages, consistently meeting deadlines and helping us connect with audiences around the world without delay.
• Stronger brand consistency: Their translations maintain our terminology and brand identity across all markets, ensuring quality and consistency in every product and communication.

Their project management has been excellent. They consistently delivered items on time and kept us informed throughout each stage of the process. Communication was clear and proactive, and they were very responsive to our needs, accommodating feedback quickly and effectively.

Overall, we’ve been very satisfied with their work. If anything, the only area for improvement would be continuing to build on the great progress they’ve already made in refining translation quality and processes.

We set about to translate Kindred for our members for the very first time.

Our goals were relatively simple, translate everything across our website, app, marketing, operational materials, App Store, and other areas.

Milengo completed everything we scoped for them, on time, with high quality.
Even more impressive to me was their flexbility and patience. We actually told them at the beginning we were going to use AI translations only, but upon internal QA decided we needed more of their help. They were ready and willing to help and also guided us through decisions/timelines as these came up and changed

Project management was top notch. Specific examples include adding on additional workstreams (App Store, Marketing) and adding a second translator to meet our changing (much tighter) timeline.

Most impressive was their balance between responsiveness+flexiblity while not at being at all pushy or sales-focused. They delivered what they said they would, when they said they would, and were always willing to talk adjustments or questions

Are there any areas for improvement or something Milengo could have done differently?

Nothing really!
On the margins there were a couple typos/errors translating hundreds of thousands of words, but this is a minor incidence rate of a fraction of a fraction of a percent which is only reasonable.

To support our need for consistent terminology, accessible documentation, and scalable localization, we partnered with Milengo to translate regular software updates and product documentation.
Milengo also worked with us to implement a new workflow aimed at improving cost efficiency and supporting long-term scalability as our product lines grow.

Translation of UI + UA into fr-FR, ru-RU, ja-JP, nl-NL, it-IT, pl-PL, sv-SE from 2019 to 2023. When we switched to in-house translators for ja-JP, fr-FR, and sv-SE we started using them instead because they have even better product knowledge.

Deliverables: BI translations (UI and UA), review and post-editing of machine-translated content (UA), term translation for terminology database, LQA

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been working with Milengo since 2019. This is proof of progress and success. We can't possibly know about the quality of the delieved languages because we can't verify them all, but considering the very low inflow of complaints about any language on our Help site and in our products is a  good sign.
