From a strategic partnership standpoint, they can operate at a high level or get in the weeds and feel like an extension of our team. They care about every aspect of our operation and are always curious about different ways they can help. They're very easy to work with, always ask for ways to improve, and make time if we ever have questions or concerns. It's been great working together!

The only thing I can think of is perhaps more flexibility in pricing structures. Since we're a seasonal company, we tend to have more traffic around different times of the year. For this, it would be helpful to have better options that help us scale down our services around those less busier times.

UnitedMasters was looking for assistance in expanding our current lifecycle marketing program in Braze with ongoing management support, particularly in planning and executing initiatives to drive more growth, subscriptions, and engagement across the user lifecycle. This included journey mapping to identify new opportunities, building Braze campaign and canvas templates, graphic design support, canvas build and QA, and ongoing performance optimization.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In our first six months of working together, MH Digital helped us expand and optimize our new user onboarding to increase app engagement, product adoption, trial starts, and paid subscriptions. We launched nine new automated, multi-touch canvases to guide new users through our product offering. 

Nearly every campaign or canvas launched drove significant lift across all targeted KPIs, drelivering positive impact for our business. For some canvases we more than 2x'd our previous conversion rates based on exposure to these new lifecycle journeys.

I don't think I've ever worked with an agency that was as easy to collaborate with as MH Digital. They immediately learned our business and our brand, then delivered strategic recommendations that aligned with our company goals and helped push the business forward. It was like they were a part of our in-house team. 

They were always professional, transparent, and delivered quality work on every project. They even helped us streamline our cross-functional processes to help us scale our lifecycle program and ship campaigns faster.

What was most impressive was how fast they learned our business. Music distribution is incredibly complex, and the MH Digital team navigated those complexities quickly and absorbed institutional knowledge faster than I could have ever imagined. I would share a learning or news about the industry, and they would remember it down the road and use it to our advantage in crafting strategy, testing messaging, and building creative. They truly became a part of our in-house team.

One area of improvement would be proactive communication about when projects will be picked up and the expected delivery date. I had a great relationship with Adam and never minded asking for status updates, but if MH Digital would send through a weekly recap or lookahead at what was planned to be tackled and when, I would feel more aligned and able to communicate better internally with my cross-functional team.

We tried many before coming across MH. I'm happy to no longer be shopping for this service. We're happy with MH and the service they provide.

The project began with an audit. MH Digital analyzed our current strategy, pin-pointed areas that needed improvement, and proceeded to offer a plan of action. MH Digital has done a great job of providing status updates along the way. Informed updates at that, not just "we're working on ____." MH Digital does a great job of explaining what's happening, what's coming next, and why the tasks are being handled in this particular way. I couldn't be happier with the communication.

I regularly speak with Erin. Erin produces lovely email designs upon request, in a very prompt fashion. The whole team is easy to contact and quick to respond. We mainly communicate via Slack. I have never had a problem getting in touch with anyone at MH. Again, very impressed with the communication from MH Digital.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Yes, the work performed by MH Digital is easy to measure as we can see statistics relating to browse and cart abandonment, customer win-back, new product launches, etc. The emails look great and are generating a nice response from our customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I don't mean to be a broken record but, the communication from MH Digital is absolutely great. The workflow has been seamless due to their ability to explain things thoroughly and clearly. Sometimes it feels like they're not there because they do not nag you with pointless communication. Drop a comment and ask what's going on and they'll respond with a detailed explanation of work in progress. I enjoy it. Honestly, MH Digital is one of my all-time favorite groups to work with.

The level of service provided at MH Digital is unmatched by any other digital marketing company that I have ever dealt with. They are honest, prompt, and a pleasure to work with.

I was establishing a new department at the company, CRM, to propel our customer engagement and revenue driving e-commerce business. I was searching for a detail-oriented, data-driven consultant or agency that had expertise in email marketing strategy and deliverability to support the team in optimizing flows and building emails.

I was specifically looking for someone who had expertise in Klaviyo and Recharge and displayed strong communication and accountability. We have a creative team and I was not looking for someone who could design and write emails, but instead develop a strategy and provide new ideas for revenue driving flows and campaigns.

Deliverables ranged from ideation, to team management, to strategic planning, to execution.

Execution: They diagnosed and fixed integration issues, updated our filters & triggers to ensure all flows and segments were accurately grabbing the right cohorts, built email campaigns, reviewed updated proper UTM usage, and built out our lead capture forms.

Strategy and Planning: They developed strategic plans for over 7 email flows that increased flow revenue 10x. They also identified 2 areas on their own accord where we could be saving money on softwares ($18K saved annually). They became my go-to when facing an unknown or challenge to solve within CRM.

Advisory and communication: They brainstormed new revenue-driving campaigns, flagged potential deliverability concerns, provided creative feedback on email content to advise optimizations, and advised on overhauling our segments, advised on our referral and loyalty program strategy, advised on our on-site quiz expierence to optimize our full funnel. They were strong advisors in identifying strengths and areas of development of team members that propelled our full-team's expertise and skillset forward.

I had 2 people on my team from MH Digital that attended weekly team meetings, stayed up to date on changing business needs, and were able to work together to flesh out new strategies and plans.

Revenue driven from email flows increased by $75K YoY due to the optimizations and new flows developed by MH Digital. Opens rates, click through rates and sales rates of campaigns and flows more than doubled. We also saved $18K annually due to the software optimizations made by MH digital. CRM was a new department and there was a lot of hesitation to the viability of the investment, but it is now seen as a core function of the business, expanding our scope and team. This wouldn't have been possible without MH digital.

We had a weekly team meeting and one-off meetings when needed. MH Digital was always responsive, quick to clarify and set expectations, and responsive to feedback. Honestly, no. There was 1 busy month where we saw fewer deliverables and timelines met, but they took the feedback well and course-corrected quickly.

Our comms execution process used to be SUCH a heavy lift internally that would require a lot of time and effort to execute less-than-ideal communication. With MH Digital, the process is significantly smoother and comes with a higher level of confidence in the accuracy of execution.

They continue to push us in order to generate the most positive impact on our business as true partners and seamlessly flex between one-off campaign execution and automated lifecycle comms strategy without hesitation. Although these outcomes are non-numeric, they are immeasurably valuable to our internal team's effectiveness and efficiency.
