Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Laz and Metis BI developed a comprehensive Power BI reporting solution and established foundational business intelligence capabilities within our organization. The work encompassed both technical delivery and knowledge transfer to enable our team's long-term self-sufficiency in BI reporting. Key deliverables include a Power BI Income Report, training sessions on requirements gathering as well as artefacts focusing on data modelling.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Improved internal understanding of Power BI best practices, clearer reporting requirements, stronger data modelling foundations, and increased confidence of internal team members in developing and maintaining reports.

I was particularly impressed by Laz' responsiveness and ability to adapt to changing needs. All items were delivered on time and knowledge was shared throughout the process to ensure long-term success.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was particularly impressed by Laz's committment to upskilling team members soft and hard skills. Highlights include BEAM modelling shares which helped team members think about reporting in terms of business processes, training on implementing a requirements gathering framework as well as sessions focused on preparing for Microsoft's PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst exam.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Metis BI could have done differently?

I wouldn't change anything about their approach. Their work combined focus on delivering a reporting solution with upskilling team members and has been of huge benefit.
