Being in the UK, we have a regular monthly online meeting at which the past month's progress and achievements are discussed and the next month's aims and objectives identified. A close eye is kept on everything.  In between meetings, should there be any issues that we need to have addressed, the team quickly responds to sort it, and/or an extra online meeting is organised asap.
