We needed a company to help us refine our branding, introduce our new business to the community, anticipate and manage PR, come up with social media and advertising strategy, plan grand opening, advise on the design of our landscaping, signage, way-finding, etc.

We interviewed four marketing companies. This Is Marketing stood out so starkly, it was an immediate obvious choice and they absolutely crushed it.

We were sold out every session for our entire season and we've already engaged them for next year and two new locations.

After working with This Is Marketing, I honestly can't believe how many aspects of my business they anticipated before I ever thought of them. Their foresight is incredible.

For what projects/services did your company hire This Is Marketing, and what were your goals?

Our Peace bars needed a rebranding for the grocery/retail space. We wanted a look that encompassed our values of the brand and told our story.

How did you select this vendor?

We had worked with This is Marketing in the past and really loved their work. They understand and share our values which makes them ideal to be the ones who help us communicate our brand.

For the peace bar rebrand they interviewed us about what we wanted to see on the wrapper. They went deep into colours, images to include and message we wanted to convey. They presented us with initial concepts, asked for feedback, and brought back to the table concepts that we could work with. They connected with the printing company and photographers and created a cohesive team that produced a product that we are very happy with.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Neil (owner) was very hands on and oversaw the project. Nathan (graphic designer) took our ideas and created a colour palette and vision for the redesign. Christian (Art Director) oversaw the creative. Kirsten kept the project on track and provided us with timelines and deadlines. Everyone was very attentive and hands on.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are just about to launch the new label and just from digital samples we have secured several national large wholesale contracts. While we don't have sales numbers yet, I expect to see a jump in our per unit sales.

Their project management is very hands on. Neil oversees everything with Kirsten making the timelines and ensuring that everything is on budget and on time. The team was very responsive and was easy to connect with if we had any questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are willing to learn, understand core values, and can turn knowledge into an actual product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't have any issues with them.
