I submitted my unfinished manuscript in MS Word to Manhattan Publishing House, where they began the editing process. We meticulously reviewed the book line by line. They sent me the edited material a few chapters at a time, and after carefully rereading their changes, I selected which edits to keep and which to discard. I appreciated having control over the final product and was pleased with the outcome.

For the book cover, I conveyed my vision to Joe, my project manager. After a few iterations, they provided me with a cover design that perfectly matched what I had envisioned. I couldn’t have been happier with the result.

Next, we tackled the logo. With the insights gained from the book cover design, the team presented me with several logo options. After some back-and-forth adjustments, we arrived at a logo that closely aligned with my vision for my book saga.

The website followed. I shared my ideas and requirements with my project manager, and they provided several design options. After some tweaking and prompt edits, the final website surpassed my expectations and matched my vision perfectly.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Editing the book was the most challenging part. By limiting the edits to one to three chapters at a time, the task felt more manageable. We tackled a few chapters each week, and over the course of a few months, we successfully completed the entire manuscript.

During the editing process, we also worked on the cover, logo, and website simultaneously. With multiple teams working on different aspects of the project, everything progressed efficiently. Their hard work and continuous efforts ensured that we made steady progress across all fronts.

Joe was my project manager for this project, and he was exceptional throughout. Whenever I needed him, I could easily reach out via text, email, or Basecamp, and he always responded quickly. With his extensive experience, he kept the project moving smoothly and efficiently. I couldn’t be happier with the dedication and quality of work he provided.

I would have appreciated having more information about the secondary services and their costs at the start of the process. While they allowed me to choose which additional services to purchase, having detailed information upfront would have been helpful. These secondary services were designed to enhance book sales and reach a broader audience.

Although I didn't have to use them, I’m glad I chose a few. In hindsight, knowing more about these options and their pricing from the beginning would have been beneficial.
