I own a marketing agency that delivers services in the website design, graphic design, and film production areas. We’re currently focusing on online and social media, along with streaming video and VR apps, which are sometimes connected.

We’ve produced VR training videos that show employees what they should do in the actual locations. They would take tests using the VR app on their actual behavior, moving objects or pressing buttons. Recordings of those tests would be watched by the people hiring them.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lune.xyz VR AR?

We needed support building complex VR environments.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We created three training scenarios together with Lune.xyz. The trainings would allow participants to go through different scenarios. The app would be used by our client to determine whether they should extend the VR training in their company. 

What is the team composition?

Lune.xyz assigned us a project coordinator, and I worked with the programmers directly at times. I’ve been in direct contact with four people from Lune.xyz.

How did you come to work with Lune.xyz VR AR?

Lune.xyz reached out to us, several months before we got the inquiry from our client. They saw that we were a marketing agency that thinks creatively, so they thought we could have a similar line of doing business, and that we could collaborate. 

At the time, we were strictly doing VR movies, recording with 360-degrees with digital cameras. We were getting to know each other, and I learned about Lune.xyz’s services through their website. There’s always a risk when going into a partnership with a company that found us, especially with such a big client, but we made a good decision to trust Lune.xyz. They convinced us through their creative thinking and portfolio.   

How much have you invested with them?

The cost of their work was around €10,000 (approximately $11,800 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Lune.xyz from May–June 2018. We had several pending VR projects in early-2020, but everything changed in March. The trades and exhibitions we were preparing for were delayed until 2021. We still have planned work for Lune.xyz, but they’re on hold.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Lune.xyz not only did what we and the client asked them to, but they were creative, and that’s very important in work like this. They proved that we made the right choice in selecting them for this project.

The quality of their work was pretty high, and they also offered their help in going to the client for presentations. I’m happy with what we got, and so is the client, especially compared to their previous partner. They had a comparison point, and they determined that Lune’s work was beyond compare.

Their work opened a new branch of products for us, which we can offer to clients as a way of making their presentations more interactive. It enables us to not only show VR movies, but also create tests and run tasks. We can offer the videos and the app as a set of services.

How did Lune.xyz VR AR perform from a project management standpoint?

The team management was very effective. If the person responsible for my project had a day off, he would be replaced immediately. The one who replaced him knew exactly what I wanted him to know about the project.

I can’t say anything bad about this collaboration. The team picked up whenever I needed them to, and they always found a date to have a meeting. They offered solutions, and they were active in developing our collaboration. They asked me if our client was happy. They were interested to know, even though that was my responsibility. Lune.xyz had a very good business attitude.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was their overall attitude to the project. They thought creatively, and they sometimes thought for us. In my opinion, Lune.xyz’s greatest asset is that they not only do what we ask for, but they think.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only downside is that we didn’t have more projects with them.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Let Lune.xyz work and be open and flexible. They’re really good at their job and clients that are set in their ways should be open as well. Lune.xyz can come up with improved ideas.

I’m the CEO of 4 Help VR, a VR training and education company. I am also the developer of the solution for VR trainings dedicated to first-aid and HMS (health and medical services). We sell a license for our VR solution to other companies so that they can introduce first-aid and HMS trainings.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lune.xyz VR AR?

We needed help with VR development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lune.xyz VR AR does VR programming. They also develop some 3D structures for the VR environment, which is inside of our solution. They try to fix issues within our solution and reprogram it to correlate with other headsets that are available in the market.

At this moment, we’re working on new VR scenarios that enable us to implement trainings for clients and customers in different branches of the market. 

I know they can also prepare XR solutions and some web trainings. They’re able to prepare most of the known solutions in the market.

What is the team composition?

I work with three people right now. I don’t know most of the team.

How did you come to work with Lune.xyz VR AR?

I had asked for a quote from their company. A few months later, I happened to meet the owner at an event, and then I found out he was the owner of the company I had asked for a quote from. I decided to cooperate with them. 

They are the third company working on my program, and I hope they’re the last one. At the beginning, I spoke to many companies that weren’t a good fit for me. I know what I can expect from Lune.xyz VR AR.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They respond to my needs very quickly. During the pandemic, it’s very difficult to test our solution because we’re not able to organize any groups, and we don’t have any feedback from users. Lune.xyz is very helpful because they also test with their friends and family. 
 
I really enjoy the cooperation with them. They have a huge, experienced team that is able to solve problems. If you try to invent something, you often come across lots of problems. They’ve been able to help us introduce and implement a solution that allows us to make our program better and better.

Without them, I wouldn’t be able to prepare everything as fast as I’d like to. Prior to them, we had one VR scenario dedicated to first-aid training. Now, we have almost finished four more scenarios. It’s been quick. They really care about the details of our program, and they’re very proactive in preparing our solution. They try to invent and make it better.

How did Lune.xyz VR AR perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management could be improved, but it’s actually my fault. I’m very unpredictable. Very often, when they call me and want to have coffee to show me what they’ve done, I decide I want it to be different. I’m always changing something. If I order something, they’ll prepare within the deadline they suggest.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I recommend their services to other companies. In the future, I hope we will work on some other projects together.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve never thought about it. I know they do their best. Their quality and prices are good.

I’m the CEO of KW Studio, a design studio based in Poland. We do interior digitalization of buildings, including 3D models,. We also survey buildings and do virtual walks and tours. We have been focusing on historical buildings recently.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lune.xyz?

We needed some help creating a virtual tour for a circular building we were working on.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We brainstormed to come up with unique and modern digitalization for the virtual walk/tour. Based on the 3D model we created, Lune.xyz created a virtual tour with spherical visualization. They added creative ways to show the surrounding of the interior. 

They also added a script for the virtual tours and features such as how to walk through one space into another. They added information, videos, and other effects to create the tour. The virtual walk is a desktop app, and the virtual tour is for a VR headset.

What is the team composition?

I interacted with three people: two founders and a project manager. There were more people working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Lune.xyz?

One of my colleagues had worked for them previously and recommended them. I looked at their portfolio, liked what I saw, and reached out. We hit it off right away, and I felt their creativity could help us work through the challenges we faced.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent 40,000 Polish zlotys (approximately $11,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June 2019–February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality of their work is great. The programming was done well for both the desktop app and the VR headset. They added extra features in the final version that I wasn’t sure they could add, exceeding my expectations. I will keep them in mind to work on future projects with me.

How did Lune.xyz perform from a project management standpoint?

They were organized and stayed on track, working according to the plan they set in the beginning while remaining flexible to changes along the way. We used Trello and communicated via phone. They finished on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was a pleasant surprise how easy the collaboration was. They were quite creative, and I believe their solutions work best for complex projects.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Brainstorming is an important part of the process. Give them space to show their creativity and ideas.
