Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a compliance management startup — BaseLines Aps.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with LoadstarSoft?

We needed a partner to develop a compliance platform, and our goal was to market the product in the European marketplace.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

LoadstarSoft provides development services, building our compliance platform from scratch. They’re designing the platform in Azure Visual Studio and developing the product in .NET. Running in an Agile framework, their team still works on the platform to support ongoing maintenance. They’re building functionalities to control all GDPR compliance information too.

The platform will be GDPR compliant and allow customers to document their processing activities with state-of-the-art modeling tools. Users can also document their compliance with all of the GDPR requirements in the platform.

What is the team composition?

My primary contact’s Kirill (CEO), and their development team includes a web designer, two frontend developers, and two backend developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Even though it’s complex, LoadstarSoft quickly grasped the idea of the solution. The quality of the functionalities and design are very satisfactory. For a small company, their team has delivered high-quality processes and results.

They ask questions and note potential weaknesses in the requirements and platform. Their team then makes suggestions for how to strengthen it. They adapt to change requests, handling them swiftly and pragmatically.

How did LoadstarSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly meetings via Microsoft Teams and communicate in an ad hoc fashion via email. I’m the product owner, and LoadstarSoft provides a scrum master and delivers products in sprints. Before every sprint, we document the expected deliverables, which I appreciate because the documentation ensures alignment across teams. Their documentation’s great, especially for a smaller company. They deliver within the agreed timeframes. If their team expects a delay, they inform us in advance.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Working with LoadstarSoft is a great experience. Their team takes a professional approach to our partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven’t noticed any areas where LoadstarSoft needs to improve. They’re a startup that’s done very well.

The overall scope of work was to develop PoC of the NIVI Resold service through an API and a front-end for user interaction and presentation of results.

this includes the following deliverables:

Deployment of the API, calculating an estimate of CO2 emissions saved from purchasing a specific piece of second-hand garment.
A front-end protoptype for users to interact with the API, calculating CO2 emissions from purchasing and selling second-hand garment in real-time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A fully functional front-end prototype for illustrational purposes and PoC, developed based on our needs and wishes, utilizing calculations done through communicating with the deployed API service.

Everything was delivered within a highly satisfying timeframe. The project felt greatly prioritized by the team and there was an immense effort to understand and respond to our needs. This was especially shown by the quick execution of our continuously inputs to the project.
