They then carried out a thorough site audit and made recommendations for updates to our blog and website. The group used our revised strategies and keywords to produce fresh collateral. Their group creates backlinks while also writing content and optimizing it. Our SEO efforts have tremendously advanced thanks to LLT Group.

It's very amazing to see how much our blockchain website traffic has increased by 100% after working with LLT Group. We therefore made the decision to move to their paid digital marketing services in the hopes of seeing the same level of success.

Make the "where to buy" functionality searchable by zip code and create a distinction for those stores that are brick & mortar vs online only. Build the site so that it's easily updated as the "where to buy" information needs refreshing approximately every quarter. 

Additionally provide product information (attributes, brand heritage, nutrition, ingredients) and a searchable recipe section. Allow users to leave reviews at both the product level and recipe level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something LLT Group could have done differently?

We selected LLT after interviewing several agencies. We felt that Justin just got us and understood the scope of the project and he gave us great confidence in the company's abilities to execute. So it did seem odd (and was a bit alarming) that once we signed on, Justin was never part of the team that worked on the project. 

So there was some hesitancy in the beginning as we were then handed over to others. But in no time at all did we realize that the team of people actually working on the project were great (Katie, Sam, and Ian). It just would have been nice if Justin was in the initial 1-2 kickoff meetings to help us transition to this new group of people.

We were a new company, so we partnered with LLT Group to help us design our Shopify site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LLT Group is building our Shopify site from scratch. Initially, we had a discovery call with them, as well as extensive interviews, so that they could figure out what we wanted out of the site and what brand direction we wanted. After that, they helped us develop our logo, color palette, and other branding elements that went into building our online presence. Now, they’re developing our Shopify site.

In addition to designing our website and branding, LLT Group has helped us design one pattern for our clothing, which we’ll launch into production. However, that task isn’t part of their main scope.

We work directly with Katie (Project Manager), but we’ve also worked with a designer and a couple of developers.

We already had worked with LLT Group in the past. Originally, we found them during a Google search.

We’ve spent around $50,000 thus far. Once we launch the website, we would have spent a bit under $100,000.

We started working together around May 2022, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

LLT Group has helped us bring our idea from concept to reality. However, we haven’t launched the website yet, so we don’t have any metrics regarding its performance.

How did LLT Group perform from a project management standpoint?

LLT Group initially outlined a very detailed scope and timeline, and they’ve adhered to it so far. They provide us with biweekly progress updates, and we haven’t experienced any unpleasant surprises or budget challenges. Everything has been consistent across the board. We typically communicate via email, and we use Google Meet for our meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

LLT Group’s biggest strength is their ability to listen to what we want. We’ve given them many different parameters, and they’ve been able to take them, run with them, and deliver excellent results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have constructive feedback for LLT Group.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come to the table with a clear understanding of what you want and the deliverables you expect. LLT Group is so experienced and well-versed that they can take your ideas and run with them to deliver something great. Be sure that they’ll fulfill your needs.

I'm the marketing manager of a commercial refrigeration manufacturing company.

Our website needed a complete redo, as it was last updated 5+ years. Our goal was to change our website platform from Magento to Wordpress, add new website functions like compare products, interactive design, highly modifiable from our end, and create 3 new additional website pages for our sister brands.

At first, LLT kept in communication with us for the first few months but kept missing key points and details, which kept delaying our initial projected timeline of 3 months.

The first project manager quit or got fired and did not let us know until our emails kept bouncing from his email. Ever since we've had various team members work with us and quit on us or have gotten fired.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Website launch took over two years, which LLT initially projected the timeline of 3~4 months.

Project management is nonexistent and the lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. I even had to resort to emailing the CEO and COO of the company to get our project moving and even the CEO was horrible. Contemplated far too many times to take legal actions for their lack of deliverance thus going against our agreed contract. Our team had to endure years of emailing, calling, and pushing them to work on our project. And they lacked any follow-up in most of our correspondence.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was the worst experience I've ever had working with any company. They were very unprofessional and our team had to constantly pester LLT to get any work done on our project, thus taking two plus years to complete it. Our project manager that helped finally put an end to our project was kind enough to stay on as our project manager, even though she was already employed at another company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would never recommend LLT to anyone and they should not be in operation. They never had us, the clients, in mind at all. All they wanted was an easy way to get paid and do none of the work that was promised contractually. I feel terrible for the employees that have to work under terrible management and even worse for clients like our company that become victims of this company.

I found 3 companies online after a thorough search for qualified teams. LLT Group was the best option due to their experience and qualifications, but the value was right too.

The team asked to see our existing assets and photography, and interviewed me several times to ensure they understood our goals and objectives. From there, they sent an overview of the direction they were headed, and upon my approval, initiated those designs through a set of specific templates. The final deliverable included a video tutorial of how to best utilize the design assets, which will prove to be extremely valuable to our team.

Having a dedicated project manager really streamlined communication and made for a simple project from my perspective. I know a lot was going on behind the scenes, but as the client, I never felt any of the stress or felt any need to problem solve for the team. They are very creative from beginning to end.

Their attention to detail is extremely impressive. I have outsourced graphic design in my many roles as a marketer, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about it this time around.I can't say enough about their thoroughness, communication, talent, and quality. It all blew me out of the water.

The only improvement area would have been communication at the onset of the project. Not with the actual project/design team, but with the owner of the firm himself. There was some miscommunication about approach and I feel it could have been avoided. However, the end result of the project was phenomenal and we are just very pleased with the process.

LLT Group has been able to create a top-of-the-line website, and they’ve been able to capture the essence of our brand into their design work. We’ve seen a substantial improvement in our new blog as compared to our old site, and we’ve gained increased traffic on our platform. Since the performance of our site has significantly improved, our customers have a positive impression of our platform.

How did LLT Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is fantastic, and their team is committed. We have scheduled weekly meetings, and every deliverable is communicated well. We communicate through text, phone calls, and email, but 90% of the time, we see each other through Google Meet.

We have a project manager that oversees the day-to-day tasks we need to accomplish and ensures that there’s seamless communication between our teams. Although we had a pretty rigid timeline with our website, the team has been able to quickly finish the project and has managed to stay a little bit under budget.

Their design team is top-notch. On top of that, Rahul is fantastic to work with, and he’s very hands-on with our project.

I wanted a clean, sophisticated, and professionally-designed website that would convey the seriousness and reliability of our business.

Initially, we spoke with LLT Group’s project manager over the phone and through email. After that, their copywriter worked on the content of our website, ensuring everything was properly worded. They took the site’s previous content and added details about our business offerings and services. 

Next, LLT Group asked our design expectations, and they asked us to send samples of websites we liked. We had conversations with their designer so they could get a feel of what we wanted the site to look like. Once I approved their design, they proceeded to the development phase.

LLT Group handled everything from start to finish, and my involvement was only providing expectations and vision. The site was developed using WordPress, and it was hosted on WP Engine. They also used a variety of plugins.

LLT Group designed the website the way I envisioned it — everything was professional and structured. The site received positive feedback from my clients. We had no major bugs from the site, and everything went smoothly.

They were professional and accurate with schedules. The project manager followed up weekly to see where things were. The design took a while, but once everything was set in stone, everything had been quick. 

They kept everything within the project scope and timeline. We used a ticketing system to assign tasks, and we usually communicated through email. 

Additionally, they were engaging whenever I spoke to them. They had a good sense of what type of message the site viewers want when they visit the website. They got a good handle of what I was looking for — their execution was right on the spot.

I really remember him listening and coming up with strategies and asking to be an expert throughout the process. The team was authentic and honest when it came to SEO and Website Design and Development. They took the time to do a full discovery on our company and this was in 2020 before we even chose a partner.

In January we reached back out to them to select them and they remembered every challenge we had as well as researched our industry to educate us on what had changed. We started the project and worked through COVID. Katie and Tony were amazing managing the project and the design team was truly experts.

When it came time for development they were flawless and did a great job on the QA work. The helpdesk was phenomenal in getting back to us quickly. We needed a brand and presence for this dinosaur of a company and what we got was innovation and technology-forward solutions.

We interviewed over 6 companies in the Chicago market and we wanted someone who was flexible to our process and team as well as had a prior experience but not solely focused on the industry. We wanted out of the box thinking with a simple design flair.

We went from discovery which was a 4 week process. We got back a 35 page document about ourselves and our competitors and our brand. Then we went to homepage design where they showed us options and notes around WHY we should go down this route for the best user experience. Once approved we signed off and then moved to internal pages. Lastly was development, seo, content and photo/video. What we loved about the experience was the time on WHY they did the designs or HOW they are going to develop. We learned alot about ourselves and our vision.

We have increased our leads coming in as well as bounce rate has fallen. Implementing Core Web Vitals was a huge win as well. We have had more client leads in 90 days than we did in the last 3 years combined. Our brand and culture is stronger because people are proud of what we build and we recently were awarded best places to work in Chicago.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They communicated and also followed up. We get busy, but they were persistent, politely and made sure to keep the project on budget and on time. The PM team are rockstars, they have a great process for small-mid market businesses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with how they were all invested in the project and our company's success. They listened but also drove home their thoughts as experts. We learned to listen as well and let them drive when it was their expertise. They work so well together and you can tell they have fun doing it.

Honestly, not much. If anything, we could have been responsive faster but they made up the time and we were extremely grateful for that.

We've been working together since December 2016. They completed most of the website revamp work in early 2017, but they continue to provide maintenance and run our Ads campaigns.

LLT Group's deliverables have provided a great ROI. Both the updates to the website and the campaigns they run have been very effective.

They meet every deadline and goal they set. Even though they have larger clients, they treat us with equal priority. We mostly communicate through email and by phone, but Rahul will also visit us on site when we need to talk through a project. The whole process is seamless.

Even though we're one of their smaller clients and they're a national firm, it's great to be able to work with one of the owners; they've made us feel important throughout the engagement.

No. Overall, it's been a great experience. Any time we haven't been completely happy with one of their designs, they've been receptive to our feedback and quick to provide iterations.
