Regarding their work, we provided them with the target keywords we wanted to go after and told them the industry we were in so they could then expand on that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We use a tool internally to track the performance of LinkBuilder.io’s work, and there has been a positive movement on a bunch of keywords we’re targeting and doing the backlinks for. We’re currently ranked in the top three positions in our target keywords, which makes our domain’s authority much higher and has increased our organic traffic by around 30%. Overall, LinkBuilder.io’s team is great and has exceeded our expectations.

LinkBuilder.io has delivered the work on time and within budget and communicated well with us using emails, Google Docs, and Google Sheets as main tools.

Unlike other agencies, LinkBuilder.io does one thing, and they do it very well. They don’t try to spread their efforts across all this; they pick their niche and are great at it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Having one main point of contact from their team instead of 2–3 can be beneficial. This hasn’t impacted their work output, but it’s something that can probably make the collaboration even smoother.

Be specific and honest with your goals, but also be open to the suggestions they provide. We all have our own limitations and lack of knowledge, and LinkBuilder.io is good at covering those black holes.

We have target pages which we would like to build backlinks for every month. Based on the target pages, we share how many backlinks should be built for each page with LinkBuilder. One project can have 69 backlinks and the other one can have 58 backlinks per month.

Based on the targets shared with LinkBuilder, Linkbuilder works really fast to make those backlinks go live as soon as possible. Then we evaluate the impact of backlinks on a monthly basis and we work on setting up targets for the next month.

The organic traffic increased by 61% in less than 2 months.

They are very open to suggestions, efficient, and attentive. We suggested using Slack instead of emails and ever since then, the communications have been working really well. Whenever they have some updates or questions, they shared them via slack so that we could follow up quickly. They shared all the project status via excel sheet, and it is easy for us to follow up with the project status. We have our monthly sync, so we share information/evaluation via monthly calls.

We are a stock assets library offering both free and Premium stock video and audio. We started with a package offering us 27 links per month, which was delivered every time. We simply let them know what keywords we wanted to target and they took care of it. We were happy with the results, so 4 months into our partnership, we upgraded our plan to receive 40 links per month.

We measure success primarily in terms of keyword rankings, specific pages, and the whole site. We work with LinkBuilder.io across multiple accounts, but we look at somewhere between 30%–60% better site traffic with the customers that invest in them — their efforts have a huge impact.

How did LinkBuilder.io perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. They have a great reporting process. We get regular updates about what they’re doing and what they’ve achieved; we can see it automatically. Also, we have periodical calls to run through the clients we’re working with. Overall, we’re happy with the reporting side — it gives us the information we need and is simple and reliable.

We use email and Google Meet for communication. Additionally, they send the reports via Google Docs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of the links is really high; they’re great, authoritative links. It helps us build the traffic and reputation of the sites we work on. Compared to other vendors we’ve worked with, LinkBuilder.io’s link quality is considerably better, which is why we use them so much.

No, we don’t want anything else from them. The process and what they provide are exactly what we need. We hope they continue to serve us at this level as we grow.

They are always trying new things and experimenting which is something I haven't found in over 15 other agencies I've hired and worked with before. They go above and beyond in their performance and are always pushing the envelope in the industry. I consider them the gold standard of SEO. They're truly unique in their service and work ethic and stand out as the obvious winner in a category overrun with spammy SEO companies who overpromise and under deliver.
