Layo studio work extremely fast to produce innovative designs. The designs were given to use via invisionapp, and after approval, the actual Figma files were provided to us.

This was one of the highlights for us! The project was handled splendidly by Maria, who was super professional! All deliveries were on time if not early! When we had doubts about something they gave us options and listened to our ideas!

We partnered with Layo on two key projects. The first project was designing our platform that helps creators build 3D web experiences. Our second project involved a complete redesign of our website. Layo had to closely follow our strict guidelines to create wireframes and designs that matched our expectations. We had a dedicated Slack channel where Layo kept us updated regularly. They were great at communicating and made sure we were always in the loop. Their project management process was well-structured and impressive. 

They frequently asked for our input, offering us various options and providing guidance to help us make decisions. Layo was also very responsive to our needs. Whenever we had feedback or needed changes, they were quick to adapt and make those adjustments. This flexibility was key in making sure the final results met our expectations. 

Overall, Layo's approach to project management was both organized and highly attentive, ensuring that our projects were completed successfully and to our satisfaction.

First of all we are web development company and correctly made web design is crucial for us. Once it was done, we implemented this design in a functional e-store and had absolutely no issues with it. This says a lot about their web design competency.

Yes, everything was delivered on time. We had weekly meetings see the progress. The files were shown vie Invision. We finished the project before the given deadline, which helped us garner positive feedback.

For us a completely correct design which takes into consideration all the specifics of html/css layout combined with perfect UX is really unique, since having worked with a lot of design company we always faced issues, because they tend to create something unique and "beautiful", but impossible to do in code.

I would like them to have more available designers at the same time, therefore scale their business. We done everything in time, but couple of timesI was a bit worried since their designers were busy on other projects.

I was looking for a team or a boutique agency in the field of UI design, to collaborate on multiple ongoing projects with the goal of creating high-standard interactive products for my client.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I searched online, for multiple vendors, freelancers, and boutique agencies on Dribbble, and interviewed approximately 10 relevant ones, I've decided to go with the Hlib and Maria as I felt they were professionals and we had good chemistry during our first call.

Usually, I create a brief and discuss this in detail with Layo's team, I share with them the wireframes of the prototype, then I give an overview look of the direction so Layo's team can create their mood boards, and offer a few UI design concepts. Once the clients have made a decision on which concept they'd like to progress with, we progress with the detailed UI designs of the remaining screens, finalize them, create its design system, and offer ongoing support for the development process.
