We chose Ladybugz because they were collaborative, iterative, and responsive. We saw examples of client sites and it felt like the right agency for how we like to work, and our stage of business.

Getting a preview of the back end CMS would have been helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.

Medi Tresse is a medical practice that specializes in the treatment of female hair loss, with five locations throughout Massachusetts, New York, and Tennessee. I am the President of Medi Tresse and oversee all business operations of the practices.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ladybugz Interactive Agency, and what were your goals?

Our practice had been growing over the past few years, but as a multi-state practice we noticed that our growth was mostly fueled by paid advertising and we had seen a decrease in our organic traffic to our website in our key geographic areas. Our goals were to increase organic traffic and increase new patients to our practices, especially in our newer locations.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went through an extensive process an interviewed over 5 companies in early 2022. After reviewing the proposals and strategies of each vendor, LadyBugz clearly stood out from everyone else's. First off, rather than just providing a cookie cutter proposal, LadyBugz built a proposal that worked around what we were currently doing and focused on what we could be doing better.

While many proposals focused on the technical work that would be done to the website to improve SEO, the LadyBugz proposal also focused on content creation, which was really important to us. More importantly, the goal of the LadyBugz team was to create quality content that would help with SEO, but also be great content for our website.

Lastly, LadyBugz was the only vendor that asked to review the backend of our site to see what was really going on and make sure they could help. This was a big project and they wanted to make sure they could deliver what they were proposing.

The scope of the project was pretty robust. We had created a new website in 2021 and while we had done some minor SEO after the site was created, there was a lot of technical cleanup that needed to be done to get the site where it truly needed to be. It is also a very large site, so there was a large amount of work to get through just from clean up stand point.

The strategy included fixing current issues with site speed and architecture, fixing technical SEO issues, implementing basic SEO structure and requirements, website image optimization and SEO. The initial plan was to to complete 6 months of content clean up and then work towards adding additional content after that point.

However, we decided to work concurrently and started to add some new content after 3 months while also updating the current content and site cleanup. The content strategy was build around building out a keyword pillar content strategy to expand keywords, improving local SEO (especially for our new location), and implementing current keyword improvements and onsite content. The new content creation included two blog posts and two case studies each month.

They assigned 6 team members to our project. Lysa oversaw the overall strategy. Roberto managed the technical and local SEO updates. Frank and Rodgrigo provided technical support. Aya worked on content strategies and wrote content. Michelle was a content writer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since utilizing LadyBugz for SEO, our page 1 keywords have increased 150% and our organic keywords have increased 55%. This has translated to an increase of over 70% in booked appointments from organic traffic. Our site health score is now 98!

The team at LadyBugz has been great to work with. They are extremely timely and responsive. Our meetings are always collaborative, which is important since they are the SEO experts and we are the subject matter experts. While we have scheduled monthly meetings, they are always available to jump on a call or respond to an email between those meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Lysa and her team at LadyBugz is how passionate they are about what they do. During our content calls when we are talking about potential new topics they get genuinely excited when we discover new topics or areas that we could go after. They want their customers to do well and they are just excited about the wins as we are.
