The goal was to create a product brochure of our product group that will attract both purchasing and technical sides of existing and potential customers

In a selection of 4 companies the pitch and concept of Yanboo felt the best combined with the personality of Bojan Janjic who was full of ideas and very approachable towards our inputs.

The goal was to show a product brochure trough a minimalistic design containing all the needed technical information with the shooting of the product photography.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome is a stylish yet very technical brochure that represents what we stand for as a company and what makes us better than our competition.

We had a single point contact whereas directly after agreeing the scope of the project a timeline was presented to us and updated regularly. We knew every moment of the time of the actual status of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The velocity of learning about our industry and how quickly they adapted the leaned into their creative side of the work is impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The communication was done per telephone and email which maybe have been better if we had communicated over Teams.

I am a founder of YanTodor - Media Fabrik. I work there as a creative director. YanTodor creates all means of visual communication for various clients worldwide.

We hired yanboo for branding, art direction and graphic design related project. Yanboo was engaged in conceptualizing, creating and developing visual identity and signage system for our client.

I've learned of yanboo through a mutual professional connection. Since we have encountered a new challenge with our client, I contacted yanboo. We took a look at yanboo's portfolio and decided to hire them.

Yanboo was presented the clients brief. After brief presentation, Yanboo asked a couple vital questions about brand direction. They started working on the proposals. The scope of work revolved around conceptualising and designing 5 different logo proposals. After finishing the proposals, yanboo presented them to us. We chose 3 proposals and presented them to our client. Our client chose the final one.

Two people. Brand designer and copywriter.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The amazing thing was that Yanboo figured out the brand direction almost even better than the client itself. Since all 5 proposals were really good, we had a tough time choosing the final 3 proposals. Final proposal selected by the client is something that he is really happy about and we share that as our biggest success and we take pride in projects like this.

Yanboo communicates through all major communicating apps so they are really easy to reach. They diligent in their replies, and they stick to the timeline and deadline. They set-up their own working schedule and presented it to us. That showed us a great deal of organization abilities. They worked at a high pace and delivered all agreed-upon responsibilities.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The creativity! Simplicity. How they combine multiple visual and semantic elements into unique and simple visuals. Design technique and color choices. Just wonderful!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not we know of yet.

I’m the owner of MLAJO. We specialize in marketing for businesses, particularly in the food industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with yanboo?

We needed digital marketing done for us and our clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I answered a questionnaire about my ideas and desires for the project, including things like colors. They designed our website, did some branding work, and created some of our marketing collaterals such as manuals and label logos.

Additionally, yanboo handles our company’s digital marketing efforts, as well as our clients’ — they also manage our social media presence on Facebook and Instagram, and provide us with related services like photography.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people from their team.

How did you come to work with yanboo?

I knew Bojan (Art Director & Commercial Photographer) through mutual friends. I also saw some of his work and I really liked them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in May 2020, and our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our portfolio is better than it was before we started working together. We’ve also seen an increase in traffic on social media and client referrals — our ROI is performing quite well. I like that yanboo can handle everything in one place for me, and my clients are also happy with their work. They’re a good company that delivers the quality that we need.

How did yanboo perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re amazing and we understand each other well — they usually finish ahead of deadlines. We communicate via email and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like that they’re simple, easygoing, and yet they still provide the best quality work I’ve ever seen — they’ve never let me down.

I am the COO of Healthy. It’s a website company for telemedicine, in the Polish marketplace.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Iterative Engineering?

We were unhappy with the software house we had hired to develop the platform, so we were looking for a new partner.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We consulted with the team, explained what we wanted regarding functionality. They helped us further develop the ideas and user flow. They did UX/UI, and then developed the frontend and backend of the platform, implementing all the functionalities. It is a web-based platform, integrated into our website.

The platform allows medical specialists and patients to connect. There is a search function for specialist profiles, calendars, video consultation, a recommendation system for after a consultation, payment capabilities, and reminders of upcoming consultations, for both patients and specialists. They currently provide support, on an as-needed basis.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Krzystof (CEO), four full-time developers, a project manager, a full-time and a part-time UX/UI designer, and a part-time programmer.

How did you come to work with Iterative Engineering?

I connected with Krzystof at an entrepreneur network meeting, and we had a good connection. We met with the team, and decided to move forward.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $51,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around December 2019, and it’s ongoing, although the development was completed in January 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We are currently testing the solution on the market. We have had positive feedback from a large client, as well as users, that the platform is simple to use with advanced functionality. We are highly satisfied with the team and plan to have them help develop a mobile app at the right time.

How did Iterative Engineering perform from a project management standpoint?

They met deadlines, and did a good job explaining technical issues I didn’t understand along the way. They were proactive; I didn’t need to ask them for anything. We use the phone, Jira, and their internal system for communication and access to every aspect of the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have excellent communication, and understood that we were less technically knowledgeable than them. They taught us some things we didn’t know. Their designers and developers are excellent, able to produce advanced solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t say they should do anything differently.

We were looking for professional UI and UX designer for our marketing campaign. We were lucky to have someone like Bojan in our team. We're very happy with the end result and will definitely work with him again.

We did research and created a shortlist of top prospects. We interviewed them all and Bojan's ways of thinking about design is exactly what we were looking for.

Our campaign was very successful. Conversation rate was 200% compared to our previous campaign and landing page that we designed by ourselves.

Everything was just perfect. Very professional and productive workflow.

Their professionalism, creativity, and possibility to look at the problem from many different views were impressive.
