I'm Carlos Ramirez, owner of Pure Restore LLC, a property-damage restoration contractor in Colorado. We handle water, fire, and mold restoration, with a heavy focus on the insurance-claim sideof the business. Our team has grown from zero to 20 full-time employees in the last five years.

We set out with Krazimo to: recover more from insurance claims by combating carriers “delay, deny, defend” tactics with stronger justification and claim support; make our documentation and carrier communication consistent and defensible on every claim; cut the administrative overhead tied to claims and collections; reduce our dependence on expensive, hard-to-find specialists so claim recovery didn't require multiple six-figure hires; and ultimately grow profit, not just revenue, on the work we were already doing.

Krazimo designed, built, and continues to maintain JSTFYD, a platform purpose-built for theinsurance-claim side of our restoration business, and embedded it into our day-to-day operations. They built the system our team now uses daily for insurance justification, carrier communications, estimate support, and documentation consistency across every claim, along with the claim-recovery tooling our collections department relies on. 
The work also included building custom AI agents into our workflow to draft carrier communications and claim documentation, configuring our team's emailand communications, and integrating JSTFYD into our existing tools. Beyond the initial build, Krazimo has stayed engaged with ongoing iteration, feedback cycles, fixes, SLAs, and day-to-day support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results showed up where it matters most: profit. From 2024 to 2025 our revenue grew from $4.15M to $5.12M (about 23.5%), but net profit grew from roughly $445K to $2.04M — a 358% increase — in the same market, with the same people, vendors, and referral partners. The only change was implementing JSTFYD daily. 
The clearest example is collections: work that used to require three employees, two of them experienced six-figure salaries, is now handled by a single person with no prior restoration or IICRC experience, working about 27 hours a week and consistently outperforming the previous three-person team. The efficiency gains let us eliminate our Office Manager position entirely. We didn't just grow revenue; we dramatically increased profit while streamlining operations.

Krazimo is responsive and iterative. They stayed in regular contact over email and calls, turned around fixes quickly, and treated our feedback as the roadmap. We were also impressed by some of the suggestions their team made, many of which were implemented into the overall functionality of JSTFYD. Overall, they were a partner who was motivated to create the best solution possible.

They understood our industry. JSTFYD is built around how insurance claims actually work —combating delay, deny, defend — not a generic AI tool bolted onto our business. The fact that a brand-new hire could outperform a six-figure team is strong evidence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Krazimo could have done differently?

Early on there were a few minor software issues to iron out as we rolled it into daily use, but Krazimo was responsive and fixed them quickly. This didn't hold back the final outcome.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Krazimo has been one of the best consulting firms we have worked with. Working with them is like working with ft employees. They have the skills they say they do (which is difficult to find in consulting marketplaces), and are procedural and very clear without slowing down the work. They're also very willing to learn during the process, responsive to new developments, APIs, or frameworks, which is particularly useful and needed when working on AI applications during which there are many releases every week and features may require updating. They also have a lot of stamina in terms of project length and extension (they have been working with us for several months), can work with other people, can dedicate their focus to you if you have a longitudinal or time sensitive project. They also try to be as accommodating with time zones as possible, still being responsive in the mornings and sometimes during the day despite being in India.My last and final favorite aspect of Krazimo's consulting service is the honesty of their developers. They're transparent about when they can and can't do something and take any potential reputational harm from not delivering on what they should very seriously, making them very easy to work with because they try to avoid overpromising and underdelivering, which I hate.

N/A, they really worked well. I liked that they also pushed back against ideas that could be better. Almost felt like they were ft employees

We found them on Upwork; we launched an RFP, and Krazimo applied. What we liked about them was that they were very experienced in ML development. In fact, their upper management came from Google, so we thought they would be the most qualified team for this project.

We’re using the solution that Krazimo has built internally for our translation projects, so we don't have metrics to share. Still, the translation quality is good.

We haven’t had any problems with project management. We’ve changed things along the way, and Krazimo has adapted well. They use GitHub and Trello for project management, and we communicate using Slack and email.
