Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of Tekt Industries, a Melbourne-based product development consultancy. We specialize in rapid prototyping, embedded and PCB design, software development, and manufacturing solutions for technology companies looking to release IoT-based products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Katapult Design?

We needed help completing high-quality product designs and UX for physical products and apps we were looking to develop commercially.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Katapult Design has provided us with app wireframes, 3D models, product renders, UX analysis, UI prototypes, and product prototypes. The team has also provided consultancy on the development and manufacturing pathway.

We’ve worked with 2–5 members of Katapult Design’s team.

Someone referred Katapult Design to us. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, had a great culture fit, and had company values that aligned with ours.

We started working together in September 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.
