Please describe your company and your position there.

Girl Effect is an international non-profit organization that builds media that girls want, trust, and need. From chatbots to chat shows and TV dramas to tech, our content helps adolescent girls in Africa and Asia make choices and changes in their lives, igniting their confidence to act differently at a time that can define their future.

I work as Evidence and Insight Manager with Girl Effect and my role is to guide and evaluate the programs run by GE.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Jump Data?

We had a lot of SBCC data and wanted to use it to interrogate our ToC and make it more efficient.

How did you select Jump Data and what were the deciding factors?

An employee of GE had experience of working with Jumpdata from the previous organization

The project requited data cleaning, management, analysis, reporting and dissemination.

How many resources from the Jump Data team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Two. The Director and the Statistician

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have clear directives for programs running in Tanzania, India, Rwanda and Malawi on how to best utilize the resources.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team at Jumpdata is very flexible and follows an iterative model. It is very well suited for complex projects.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team is very open to new ideas. They went the extra mile to accommodate your needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We did not find an instance during our course of working which wasn't perfect.

I'm the Senior Research Manager at a marketing agency dedicated to cycling.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jump Data?

We use Jump Data frequently across most of our research projects, both for data formatting and in depth, bespoke analysis.

How did you select this vendor?

Jump Data were already working with us before I joined four years ago, and we have continued to strengthen this relationship.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Jump Data were involved in the planning phase, as well as data cleaning and additional analysis including Key Driver Analysis and CHAID analysis.

What was the team composition?

Our work has all been with Paul, our key contact at Jump Data.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Brand Tracker project has already influenced which markets are a key focus to drive subscription, as well as helping shape the creative campaigns. Key stakeholders in the business were pleased with the quality and depth of the data they had provided.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicated frequently, and the responsiveness from Paul is always very impressive. It helps us stick to tight deadlines knowing that he will always get back to us quickly. He was also key to solving some challenges with the data we received.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The responsiveness and the great working relationship that we have. We are a specialist agency and the effort to understand our business and those of our clients, as well as challenges they face, is really appreciated.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Not that I can think of at this time.
