Our client was more than happy with the project results. The great project management approach including the focus on personal connection with a mix of creativity helped to deliver a successful project.

Project management is top-notch. We never felt that something wasn't in control. johnnypuetz Productions delivered several projects for us in time and in budget. Communication is spread out to virtual online meetings, phone conversations or text messages. They were always reachable for us if we needed to discuss something, also short notice.

Project management with high social competence stands out. It feels more to work with friends than contractors.

I needed help with creating a video, so I sought johnnypuetz’s services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I went to New York to produce a video about motorbikes, and the johnnypuetz team helped with assembling the film set, sourcing the models and motorbikes, reaching out to the necessary companies, and just organizing that particular shoot in general. Johnny (Director) assisted me with hiring talents and provided the photographer and videographer as well.

Once everything was arranged, we came up with stills and actions shots. Their team captured videos and photos simultaneously. One of their cameramen even rode a bike while filming to get the desired shot of the subjects.

I worked with 3–4 people from their team, and that included a photographer, a videographer, and Johnny himself.

The video is published on the website and various social media platforms. It accomplished more than I hoped it would. My client wanted a realistic shot of riding through the city, and that’s exactly what they got. It didn’t feel staged at all; everything was authentic and able to show that the motorbikes are not just meant for the country. What the johnnypuetz team provided was perfect.

I came to New York and theri team took care of everything. Their communication was brilliant. It was very seamless and efficient, and I didn’t have anything to worry about. After each phone discussion, they would send a confirmation email outlining what we had just talked about.

Their organization skills were truly impressive. I struggled to find agencies that could organize a shoot around motorbikes and get the specific shots that I needed, but johnnypuetz was able to achieve everything on my list. It’s rare to find a team that can do that even without a massive crew and budget.

No, I was really happy with their service. I learned a lot from them.

When working with any agency, just be clear about what you like. Their team is very experienced in this arena, so you can expect them to achieve whatever you want to accomplish.

When it comes to video editing, we mainly work with JP (Founder & Director) and Riccardo (Video Editor). For production work, we have as many as 5–7 people from their team joining us, depending on the complexity of the project.

It was my boss who found JP through their motorcycle hobbyist group. As they became friends, we started to work together and have had a good relationship since. Everything has been perfect, so we’ve not considered changing partners.

They were already working with the company for years when I joined in June 2021. Our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Whatever johnnypuetz produces is so spot-on that, 90% of the time, our clients will request little to no revisions for the final videos. Everything is free of issues or hiccups, which is what we like most about working with them. They would even offer to go back on some projects to make sure that the final versions are perfect. 

On top of that, their turnaround time is also pretty fast. There has been an instance where we had the final video within 36 hours of us sending them the raw footage. 

How did johnnypuetz Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. Their uptake of instructions is very straightforward; it usually only takes one email for them to understand the requirements and creative take for a project. The next day, they’ll have done everything perfectly. Production and post-production are all very smooth-sailing as well. 

We communicate via email, but we exchange texts whenever there’s an urgent matter. They’re very professional and responsive; within five minutes of us sending them a message, they’ll confirm that they’ve received it and will immediately start working on the issue. We also share media through Dropbox, which is very convenient because it notifies us whenever a file has been uploaded by their team. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What really stands out to us is how this feels more like a friendly relationship than a B2B partnership. It’s never about the money; they’re always set on helping us execute whatever it is we want to do. They’re very genuine, lovely people, and they’re very responsive and professional towards us.

No, we don’t have any issues with them. Our relationship has been great so far.

Explain your vision and goals directly to their team. If you’re not sure about an idea, they can help you enrich it and navigate the creative process. As long as you’re clear from the very beginning, they’ll be sure to provide the content that you need.

We use the material he creates for us for YouTube, social media outlets like Instagram, and we also send the videos to our wholesalers to serve as promotional content.

I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback from people who have visited our site and seen our social media, just complimenting the pictures and the videos.
