The project involved the complete migration of a mobile application, including the development and architectural definition. SharePoint/Teams Portal - Replaced a complex Drupal site into SharePoint allowing them to retire the expensive Drupal site. - Sentiment Analysis Tool: Developed the web project for a large Fortune 50 company and demonstrated great teamwork with the other development team members.

There are several projects that we have and are working with IT Systems. But the skill set and team is described above. Essentially these skills: - SharePoint -Teams -.NET - Python, NodeJS - Angular, React

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project is essentially a 'development partner relationship'. We now can scale when our Clients desire near-shore development. Previous to this we had scattered employees and contractors. Now we are centralizing our development arm which allows us greater efficiency and utilization. IT Systems needed to perform to earn this designation with us.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We typically ran projects with our own PMO methodology and systems. IT Systems followed the methodology and communicated all throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There ability to produce quality code with good unit testing. They respect the needs of the client and us and ask questions if they don't understand something or if they have an issue with a technology decision. This is the test of a true partnership as they don't just perform tasks, but rather they want to become a true development partner.

At this time, they are doing great for us!

My position is a technical leader of a company dedicated to process automation. In this project I also participated as project manager and was able to work hand in hand with both the ITSystems team and the client that is one of the largest companies in Costa Rica and Central America for the production of dairy products and derivatives

We contracted the services of ITSystems to support us in the phase of understanding requirements, estimation, development, QA and go to production of the customer portal.

What were your goals for this project?

The main objective of the project was to provide an e-commerce platform for customers in the region, which additionally automates the process of updating the company's master data. The application should provide a registration mechanism with its respective request for requirements that included the loading of legal documents for the formalization of customer registration and access to credit.

Additionally, customers should be able to follow up on their credit applications, order requests, data update requests, among others. The challenge in this project included interacting with SAP for the preparation of orders, designing the logic behind the quantity of items per package, the conditions of shipment of merchandise considering expiration dates, transfer of refrigerated and frozen merchandise and warehouses closer to the buyer location.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected ITSystems for its demonstrated ability in previous projects. We have hired their services for more than 5 years through which they have maintained excellent qualifications in the supplier evaluation processes. Additionally, the resources they provided were among the best qualified and most experienced in the market, without neglecting their competitive rates.

ITSystems developed a robust web application in .net, storing information in SQL server. They developed web services for communication with SAP, helped us to perform load tests on the platform and collaborated with the client in the production start-up, knowledge transfer and technical documentation. Additionally, they provided support and accompaniment to the users after putting into production

What was the team composition?

The team was composed of a technical leader who collaborated with project management issues, two full stack developers and two QA managers who additionally participated in the documentation stage

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Both we in our role as intermediaries and the final customer were highly satisfied with the quality of deliverables and the commitment demonstrated by the IT Systems team. It is worth mentioning that this is one of our AAA clients and represents more than 40% of the company's turnover. As a result of the results obtained in this project, we managed to close the supplier portal project and other development projects for finance.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our company provided the project management resource for the client but our counterpart at ITSystems was responsible for coordinating all tasks within the team and providing weekly progress reports, as well as participating in the follow-up sessions with the final client. The experience was very good, the information provided was very accurate and the objectives set in time and cost were achieved despite the technical complexities

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Without a doubt, the level of commitment and quality of the deliverables are the best attributes of ITSystems, in addition to transparency in the negotiations, and the communication channels always open, both with the technical team and with the management that is always involved in the customer relationship is a high point to highlight

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are so satisfied with the services provided by ITSystems that we have no recommendation for improvement. Always at the end of the projects we carry out an exercise of lessons learned with ITSystems that has become an extension of our team of consultants. The opportunities for improvement that we have detected over the years have been immediately observed and have allowed us to consolidate a strong working relationship between both companies.
