The agency was engaged as our technology and product partner to build the foundation of a modern RSVP and guest management platform purpose-built for large-format Indian weddings and complex events.

The objective was to translate a domain-led vision into a scalable SaaS product — enabling a non-technical founding team to launch quickly, validate real planner workflows, and build infrastructure capable of supporting future expansion into additional event categories and integrations.

The engagement combined product strategy, architecture design, and hands-on development to take our platform from concept to a live, operational platform.

What impressed me most about this company was that they didn’t behave like a typical development agency — they operated like true co-builders. From day one, the founders were personally involved, not just overseeing delivery but actively shaping the product vision alongside me. As a non-technical founder, that level of strategic partnership made a significant difference. They didn’t just ask what to build; they challenged assumptions, refined workflows, and helped translate real-world operational chaos into structured product decisions.

Another unique aspect was their CTO’s forward-thinking mindset. While we were focused on launching the MVP, the underlying architecture was already being designed for scale — future integrations, automation layers, and product expansion were considered early. That balance between speed and long-term thinking is rare. They moved fast without cutting corners, and every decision felt intentional rather than reactive.

Most importantly, they helped me go from idea to live product without losing momentum, clarity, or equity — which for a non-technical founder is incredibly valuable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Iterator could have done differently?

Overall, the experience was very strong, but like any fast-moving 0→1 build, there are always areas that can be refined as the product matures. At times, given the speed of execution and the collaborative nature of working directly with senior leadership, more formalized documentation and handover structures could have been introduced earlier to support internal onboarding and reduce reliance on live discussions. As we transition from build phase to scale phase, additional process standardization around release cycles, documentation, and knowledge transfer would further strengthen continuity for a growing in-house team. That said, these are natural evolutions for a product moving from early-stage development into operational scale, and they do not take away from the overall quality, commitment, and strategic value the team delivered.

Project Summary
Iterator supported Lumency on the redesign and rebuild of Touchstone, a Lumency-owned proprietary sponsorship proposal/request intake and evaluation SaaS platform. The goal of the engagement was to modernize the product’s design, improve usability and workflows, and transition the platform from a single-tenant architecture to a scalable multi-tenant SaaS solution that could support multiple enterprise clients securely and efficiently.

The project covered end-to-end product design and full-stack development, including backend architecture, frontend experience, workflows, scoring logic, and infrastructure. The work was delivered in phases, starting with a production-ready single-tenant build and followed by a conversion to a multi-tenant model to support future growth.

Overall, the engagement focused on creating a stable, scalable, and user-friendly platform that could support sponsorship request intake, internal review, scoring, and reporting for enterprise clients.

We were also impressed by their strong focus on data security and compliance, ensuring the platform aligned with global SaaS standards and best practices. The team was highly approachable and easy to work with, while remaining flexible as needs evolved. When timelines or priorities required it, they were willing to work across time zones and outside standard hours to keep things moving forward.

There were no major areas for improvement during the engagement. Iterator was proactive, responsive, and consistently delivered against expectations. Overall, the partnership ran smoothly, and we were very satisfied with both the process and the outcomes.

Iterator migrated our website from WooCommerce and created innovative solutions for our unique products. The team also enhanced the customer journey, created an integrated backend order management tool for our made-to-order products, and found and created a POS solution with the POS provider.

Brand new state-of-the-art website! 

Our website went from 0.4% of the brands revenue across channels, to 10% of the revenue today.
