I’m the CTO of Digitail, a cloud-based, AI-powered platform that streamlines veterinary clinic operations, including scheduling, medical records, invoicing, inventory, and client communication, helping clinics save time and improve efficiency.

What challenge were you trying to address with Iterasec?

We needed help with penetration testing for our website and mobile apps.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Iterasec performed threat modeling, analyzing threat actors, key threats, and mitigations for our system. This served as a good input for the penetration test. The team also conducted web, mobile (iOS and Android), and REST API security testing. The following security domains were evaluated in detail during the penetration test:
Moreover, Iterasec tested third-party integrations, including secure token handling (Stripe), API connection security (Zoetis), and SSO/MFA validation (Okta). The team also conducted an AWS cloud assessment, including configuration review, IAM auditing for over-privileged roles, S3 bucket security scanning, and VPC/security group analysis.

We found Iterasec through an online search. We chose them over other options because they were close to our geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, and they offered good value for the cost.

Iterasec completed the penetration test and found vulnerabilities that we’ve been able to resolve.

Iterasec delivered on time and was very fast. We communicated via email and messaging apps.

We were impressed with Iterasec’s quick turnaround time. The team didn’t require a lot of handholding, and the penetration test was smoother than expected.
