I wanted to seek Intellify's help in creating a mobile app for both Android & iOS. The app will augment old architectural structures along with important historical figures. Intellify fully created the 3D models from scratch and integrated them with the mobile apps. Intellify also helped me with a website creation for my company.

I was looking for companies that had good experience with Unity. I shortlisted to 4 companies based on Upwork & 3rd party reviews along with what they had to offer. I had multiple meetings as well with all companies. Intellify gave a solution within budget along with maximum confidence that they can do it!!

They created a AR mobile app that would augment how old historical monuments could have looked like 500 years ago. I gave them some sketches and concepts of how it could have looked it and Intellify did a brilliant job of creating those models.

When it came to historical figures like King or Queen, Intellify were able to use the concepts/guidance based on the information I provided. Once the models went through multiple iterations of tweaks, they were seamlessly integrated into the mobile app.

A project manager was the main point of contact throughout the project. I was also briefly in touch with one of its founders. They have always been easy to reach. All project requirements were documented in Active Collab platform.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app has created a lot of interest in people who are trying to look back at India's rich history. Even though this is a proof of concept app with limited content, the app has raised the quality bar for next generation mobile AR apps.

During development project, I had 2 calls every week with the project manager to discuss updates. All requirements were documented in Active Collab platform also. Anytime there is a chance of getting delayed, I always got clear feedback from the project manager.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

High quality Unity experience and very good 3d model generating capacity. The cost is slightly higher but the quality is great!!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I had to reschedule a few weekly calls. If I was in the same time zone, it could have been okay. But since I was 12.5 hrs behind, some days it got difficult to accomodate that. But they have been open communication at all times.

We provided a 3D file and photos of the maquette of the sculpture and they created an AR experience where it was made to full scale. They color matched and fully developed it into a Web AR experience that lived on our website.

I largely interacted with their customer lead and a design lead. They handled all communications with their team which made it very easy for me, having just one key point of contact.

The deliverables were exactly what we were looking for. The end product fully met our expectations, the process was easy and everything was completed on time.

We used a project management tool throughout out the process which made feedback easy and fast. We also had weekly calls to check-in on progress and provide feedback.

The value for the level of execution was great. We will definitely use them again for future work.

Our client was looking to create an Instagram filter with their brand assets included. Our goal was to create a filter that we were able to launch on Instagram to be used by our clients target audience.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were recommended to The Intellify group from another marketing agency here in Arizona, and them came with high praise for their AR/VR skill set and many other digital capabilities. After talking with their team, it was evident that they would be capable of meeting our goals in a timely manner.

They worked with our design from our client to create an Instagram filter within Spark AR that included the clients logo and other brand assets. Their team was able to advise on some areas of concern they had with our design, and walked us through how to get through the approval process with Instagram.

Once they completed the Instagram filter, they were gracious enough to extend several revisions that our client wanted with no extra charge. They then helped us launch the filter on Instagram and make revisions due to the approval process.

We worked with three different team members from The Intellify group including their new business development team and the design expert who executed our Instagram filter.

The new Instagram filter will allow our client to collect branded assets from all of their brand representatives. This new filter will also allow the client to have a consistent brand messaging with their Instagram stories on an ongoing bases. The Intellify team did an amazing job and we are very pleased with the results.

During the duration of our project, their team was extremely communicative and worked to ensure we felt supported every step of the way. They were ahead of schedule, and patient with us while we awaited many client revisions.

They offered high-quality services. They were friendly and talented team members at an affordable rate. You really feel confident that you are getting your money's worth when working with their team as they really do go above and beyond.

The only delays on this project that we faced was on our client's side. We were pleased with The Intellify groups ability to navigate the disapproval process with Instagram and help us accomplish our goals.

I’m the CEO of a multimedia AR and VR printing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with The Intellify?

We wanted to create software that would allow us to create a backend capability. We also wanted to manage the media that would be displayed in a front-end application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Intellify is building out 11 different modules for our end-user iOS and Android app. These include an e-commerce module so the user can purchase products through the app. It also includes AR/VR, where a 3D model would pop off a book page.

Additionally, they’re creating a mixed reality module to allow a user to have a 3D module pop up in the real-world space. There are also different modules where it looks like different props are painted on a user’s face. A user can access these different modules when they scan a QR code.

On the administrator side, they built a web-based tool that allows us to upload all of the different media users are going to see.

We worked with a project manager and someone from their development team as needed.

How did you come to work with The Intellify?

I originally found them on Upwork. After going through their website and looking at some of the things they’ve built in the past, they looked like a good fit. We spoke with them on the phone, and they were extremely knowledgeable about the industry and the AR/VR elements that we wanted to include.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $26,000–$27,000 already. Phase two will be $15,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re still in the process of uploading all of our media for one of the books. We have shown the functionality to stakeholders, and we’ve gotten excellent reviews.

How did The Intellify perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great at meeting milestones. We have tracking spreadsheets in Google to document issues I’ve come across. They let me know when they fix it, and what they did to fix it. It’s been a great process for us. Their team uses ActiveCollab for project management. We also meet via Zoom twice a week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their willingness to adapt really stands out; whether it’s the time of day that we’re meeting or them responding at odd hours, they’re thorough in documenting what we need to accomplish. They’ve gone above and beyond.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. It would be nice if they weren’t so far away from us, but they handle that very well.

We’ve had a clear vision of what we wanted from the start, which has made everything easier for them.

VINTANA automated 3D and AR e-commerce, but our clients also want to leverage those 3D files across Snapchat. The Intellify helped us create multiple shoe try-on Snapchat lenses.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They reached out to us via email and I set up a call to learn more about the work and experience. I asked them to send sample Snapchat lenses they had built and then hired them for one initial test which went great.

They created multiple Snapchat lenses. We provided 3D models, but they had to make edits to the models in order for the Snapchat try-on functionality to work. They then created the filters so a user could hold up their phone and see 3D shoes overlaid over their feet.

I have one main point person who was very responsive and clearly communicated any changes we needed to their team.

The Snapchat lenses worked great! We were very happy with the final result and with the speed, they were able to complete the project.

Their speed in creating the Snap lens draft, taking our feedback, and turning around updates quickly was impressive.

We needed someone to design an AR experience of digitized embroideries hung (via AR) in the field of vision. The exhibit needed to be accessible online, ideally on a website for desktop and mobile user. The goal was to create a digital unconventional exhibit of fine art.

SOLUTION

How did you select The Intellify and what were the deciding factors?

We selected The Intellify first and foremost because of the quality of their past work and the clarity with which they communicated with me. They were very transparent about costs and extremely communicative about any changes to the timeline we had formulated. The level of professionalism from our very first encounter was very high and it was easy to feel trust in their company as a unit as well as in the individuals with whom I was communicating.

• Upon successful scanning of the floor, user can tap and the embroideries will be viewed suspended in the air with the thread attached at the top on the invisible walls. User can move around all the 37 embroideries to view all of them while keeping phone with them WebAR experience

The online exhibit of the artwork has enabled hundreds of people to see and experience the work who would otherwise be unable to in this time of great uncertainty and quarantine. The team at The Intellify delivered above and beyond in quality and timeliness and we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from digital visitors.

During development, wee had weekly meetings via Zoom with the project manager and developers. The Intellify also uses Active Collab as a tool to communicate any questions, meeting notes, and delays, which made it very easy to streamline troubleshooting. We also had email communication outside of Zoom and Active Collab. I always felt that if I sent a question or request I could trust it would be handled swiftly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed with The Intellify 's global reach and experience. It is clear through their organization, past work, and communication style that they are adept at working with many different kinds of clients from all over the world. Working for an artist who puts globalization and the exchange of culture at the forefront of his practice, it was great to see those same ideals reflected back to me from The Intellify team.

The Intellify team consistently stayed one step ahead of any potential issue, as such there is nothing I feel they need to improve upon.

The Project management was based on Agile methodology with baseline concepts from Project management institute (PMI) philosophy. Additionally, the concept of agile methodology and paired programming was used to pair senior developers with junior team members to enhance productivity. The project was tested using concepts from Six Sigma black Belt to ensure reduced bugs and system performance.

The most impressive was their Agile philosophy to out project. Additionally, I would also recognize The Intellify for: 1) Communication 2) They had a coordinated approach to app design, development and implementation 3) Cost effective approach and alternatives
