Most important impact would be the fact that we had a very happy Client at the end of the project. Engagement with the AR was also very high. meeting the KPIs that we set

As i mentioned above, they were responsive and were very solution oriented when it came to some of the tech problems we faced. What was most impressive was they delivered on time despite the very tight schedule

They were all about finding a solution to the problem. Never said it was impossible

If we had enough time, it would have been great to see how much we could have pushed the AR experience and experimented with new techniques

The project began with providing the wireframe describing the entire structure and the team came up with a VR training module. After that they started with creating the 3D models and other assets and animations related to the module. After the development was done, they helped us with the documentation and the product overview.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This helped our customers to have a smooth experience on our training part and the feedback from our customers has been excellent. However, we do wish to run this model in the coming days to have more concrete feedback from our customers.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The PM team was very professionals. Most of the milestones were achieved on a timely basis. The entire communication related to PM was managed in Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team is extremely qualified to understand the problem and they come up with some really interesting solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement?

So far so good and we're willing to expand our project in the next phases. We will be looking to have some more interactions with the team.

To develop an amazing VR experience for our technicians that are working in the manufacturing plant. It needed to give them proper training for their daily tasks and easily explain what to do and what not to do.

They began by creating the story for our VR training, helping us brainstorm the design for VR interactions. After that, they started with the 3D model, character design, and animation, then integrated the 3D assets and animations. Post-development, they created training and put together a How to Use document.

We worked with a business analyst, a 3D modeler, an animator, a Unity3D developer, a QA, an engineer, a project manager, and an account manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We've already rolled out the solution to several teams across different plants, and the response to the app has been amazing. People loved it and have included it in their training and evaluation programs.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We were assigned a dedicated project manager who was our main point of contact throughout the project. They used agile methodology for the development and daily scrum meetings really helped us to develop this solution efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We really liked the scrum and agile dedicated project manager, and the use of Basecamp for project management. It kept communication transparent and effective.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, they're doing great and we've started working on the second phase.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed rapid turnaround on an iOS app development project. Since we were already overloaded with other projects, we wanted a developer who could handle quick, clear communication.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for a mobile development agency that could take over an ongoing project and deliver the proper quality within our timeframe. They responded quickly and professionally while displaying a solid understanding of our requirements.

They began by reviewing the source code of our Android version and developing the general framework. They also reviewed the entire source code to understand the functional flow of the app. After an initial round of source code review, they started development. They also helped us with web services and API integration.

What was the team composition?

The project team had four people: a senior iOS developer, a QA, a project manager, and an account manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They completed the scope quickly and with no issues. This project was for a demanding client who insisted on excellent aesthetics and a functional workflow. They handled all our requests, including several extremely challenging ones, particularly well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They primarily used Basecamp, which helped us communicate and stay up-to-date with their progress. They also assigned a project manager as our primary point of contact. Having daily standup meetings with the team and constant access to their project manager definitely helped.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our project manager traveled between two countries with a 10-hour time difference, but they still synchronized our communications and delivered in a timely fashion.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Working with them was great, and we're eager to start our new engagements with them. I can't think of any areas for improvement.

They use basecamp for project management, which is very useful and effective for throughout project communication. Also, they assigned a dedicated project manager for our app, who was single point of contact for us.

The most impressive thing about “The Intellify” is there coordination and harmony in their work. From start to finish everything was smooth and timely which I value the most for a project like this.

They designed and developed the Unity3D AR app for the cover character of the children's book. Simultaneously, they uploaded the content to Vuforia and managed the Integration with the app, as well creating a physical demo for the project. Overall they provided the end-to-end service, from UX/UI design to a finished mobile app. They'll continue for the remaining characters of the book as well.

The purpose of the project was to create and introduce original characters for our platform. This will do very well in getting our audience excited and familiar with the stories we will be introducing.

I’m the founder of SENSEcity Ltd., a city guide startup. We provide travel guide books that work with an AR application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence! is developing our AR application from scratch. It’s built for iOS and Android. We gave them wireframes for the user flow. Their design and tech teams are designing the UI/UX design and developing the entire product. 

They’re also integrating all the AR experiences, which I provide most of. I used the funding I received in Glasgow to create 3D content.  We’re going to purchase a license to create a Vuforia integration. The entire AR experience is built on Unity. 
We’re going to start providing AR app development solutions for customers and clients looking for that service. I’m transitioning from just their client to more of a partner.

What is the team composition? 

I have one point of contact when it comes to AR accommodations. I also have a point of contact for all the sales side, invoices, etc. Two developers work under the main developer, who is my point of contact.

I found The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence!  through Upwork. They were extremely proactive. The salesperson got in touch with me on LinkedIn and had clearly read the brief I mentioned very thoroughly. They took the initiative to call us to get an even better understanding of the project. 

Even though their costs weren’t the cheapest, we could tell they were reliable. To date, they’ve developed more than 40 AR apps for companies around the globe, including ones in the UK.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018 and have work ongoing. We’re planning to go live in April. The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence!  will also be on board for our next project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence! Is very receptive to change. They have a keen eye for how the final app will look and can understand the client’s perspective. The team has been receptive and patient whenever I’ve requested changes. 

I appreciate that they understand change is a part of project development. They’re never hesitant or lazy. Instead, they play around with the app until they reach the goals we want to achieve.

How did The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence! perform from a project management standpoint?

The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence! has a set process for project management in place. I met with them a couple of times when I visited India, but most of our conversations are over Skype or email. However, they aren’t overly reliant on emails, which is very valuable to me. Communication is very easy with them.

They introduced me to Basecamp which I now use with my team as well. This tool aligns everyone on the team. We can all see the deadlines and track progress visually together.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their technological skills. Their key strength is a superior knowledge of AR app optimization. We have many 3D models integrated into our app. They always know the best ones to use. 

The Intellify - Innovating Intelligence! offers valuable suggestions. It’s been easy for me to communicate with them because we can talk about technical terms that they aren’t very well-versed in. Before we go live, we’ll try to fix a couple of issues we predict the app will face. Their knowledge of AR is strong due to their experience with the technology.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At times, it’s taken a while to explain how an AR interaction would work. Since the end product is so visual, it’s been difficult to communicate how every AR element should interact with the images. They have a higher level of tech than design skills and could improve on visualization.

We shared our idea with The Intellify, and they found the best solution for our needs. First, they designed the UX/UI elements of the platform, which we finalized after a bit of back and forth to incorporate our feedback. Then, they started development using Unity3D technology and implemented it with the Vuforia platform. Once completed, they published the iOS and Android versions on their respective app stores.
