Intelivita was commissioned to develop a multi-platform financial wellbeing ecosystem for Lifetime, designed to connect customers with financial coaches and provide a financial education platform with video content. The scope of work included a customer facing app platform and website, a coach portal, a super admin panel, end to end development and integrations with stripe for payment and vimeo for video hosting.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Launch from initial scope to a fully fledged financial education and wellbeing app. There are lots of elements to our app which were brough to life in a simple user friendly interface. In the background there was a lot to tie in together for our consumer journey through wellbeing tests/quizes, financial education, planning and coaching. We successfully launched in October 2023 and the success is evident in the volume of users and interaction/engagement. 

Progress has been demonstrated with the subsequent support post launch in further developing the app and helping it evolve into one of the best in the wellbeing space.

The project management throughout has been great. We have been assigned project managers who have dealt with our requirements in a very timely and collabrative manner. Providing constant feedback and always available to handle any queries.

Intelivita was engaged as our end-to-end product development partner, responsible for transforming our concept into a functional and scalable digital platform. Their work spanned product discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment across mobile applications and backend systems, with the objective of delivering a production-ready platform suitable for real-world use and future scaling.

Intelivita led the initial product discovery and technical planning phase, running requirement-gathering sessions to define platform objectives, user needs, and core functionality. They advised on the overall system architecture and technology stack, ensuring the solution was cloud-based, secure, and scalable. This phase resulted in clear technical specifications, feature definitions, and development roadmaps that guided the build process.

They delivered full UX and UI design services, producing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interface designs for all primary user journeys. The designs were aligned with our brand identity, mobile-first in approach, and optimised for usability and accessibility. Iterations were made based on feedback prior to development handover to ensure clarity and consistency across the platform.

Intelivita developed cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android using a shared codebase. This marked a transition from early-stage ideas and prototypes to a working system capable of supporting real users and live operations.

A measurable outcome was the establishment of a scalable technical foundation. The backend architecture, APIs, and database were implemented to support user growth, business onboarding, rewards transactions, and content management without requiring a rebuild. Intelivita were asked to create a mobile booking service which would allow customers to instantly hire an available taxi, as well as give them scope to book in advance (up to 7 days). This app was to be exclusive to registered taxis and must be robust enough to carry a potentially substantial client base. So far they have more than delivered on this.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• At all stages Intelivita have kept me informed of progress. Their engineers are available at any time if problems develop during the development stages. Their attention to even the smallest request is met with a can do attitude and always with positivity towards an outcome. Our App (UNIFY) is up and running and attracting a ton of business which is in no small part, due to the wonderful people at Intelivita. They have certainly produced a world class outcome for us and we are thrilled to present it to the London Public. With luck in a few years even further afield.

We had an excellent working relationship with the project manager. Deadlines that were introduced were always met or technical circumstances which dictated slightly more time were fully explained to us in detail. Time sheets with specific hours clearly marking each task to be completed gave us confidence that these guys were aware of the project and were working hard to get it completed to time. 

At times we had brainwaves and would require upgrades and additions to the App. These were met with cooperation from the team and if needed additional hours were worked and and costed for us to evaluate before implementation began. Through all stages of the project we were consulted and advised of exactly what was expected of us. At times we were unaware of specific requirements because this was our first adventure into having an app created. 

However, the team fully understood this and provided all of the help and encouragement we needed. They were very good with helping our learning curve. Sometimes things would pop up of which we had no understanding, they would then explain the importance of the feature. This was at times invaluable and we are very grateful to the management team for their continued support.

The most impressive or unique aspect of this company is difficult to pick out among so many good things. The liaison between the tech guys and us was extremely well facilitated by the manager. At no time was he ever too busy for us. His patience must of at times been stretched by our constant questions and queries. However, all were met with a friendly professional response. This gave us confidence that the project, although long, was moving forwards and we knew it was progressing towards a workable outcome.

Intelivita has done all that we asked on time, and then adapted it all to suit our constant adjustments. We could not fault their commitment to our project.

We contacted BIPC in our local area who gave us the link to Clutch platform, we read through the reviews and picked Intelivita as we thought they should be a good fit, we filled their online form and got a call back same day, we then arranged a first meeting, that was all we needed to be convinced we found the right agency to work with as they brought a wealth of knowledge from that very first discussion.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

What started off as a quick design project as we had the scope ready for them to proceed ended up with their team collaborating with us on numerous research, they were able to help us make crucial decisions, we wrote out the user story and then went on to design the prototype wireframes for the different set of users, we also had a webpage built to be able to conduct our market product fit, we now have a proposal to build the platform as the next stage

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had 2 people that we directly interacted with through the life of the project, pretty sure there were others working in the background but it was easy to communicate with minimum contact who have an overall knowledge of what we were trying to achieve and they communicated with their team, one project manager and a business analyst. The project manager was the key person.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are pleased with the deliverables from Intelivita team, the UX/UI represent the platform we are trying to build which they will be developing for us in the new year as soon as we raise enough fund to start the next phase, we have tested with several potential users and have had positive feedbacks. They have been able to capture the vision and guided us with their many years of experience and expertise in the field.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have a very flexible approach to work which worked really well for us as a start up, the project manager was super effective and communicated really well with us at every stage of the development, they carried us along and made sure we were both on the same page, we had a few zoom calls when necessary otherwise we used Basecamp as our main platform for communication it was super easy to communicate with the entire team and collaborate, they worked really well with time and when deadlines weren’t going to be met we had prior communications.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very professional and friendly group of people, they have built a team of knowledgeable experts, their input from the very first conversation blew me away, they thick all the right boxes for us and we just knew we found the right people to work with, they were able to guide us through the process as a startup we had so much to learn and they had the patient to help us throughout, they support their suggestions with research evidence, with all time invested in designing the user story the UX/UI design took little time and turned out perfect.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We took a long time to complete the initial stages of user story and research before the main design which got me worried at some point but once we got to the design phase it was completed in no time, that information should be clearly communicated as I now understand the process.

I needed their team to build an application that served as a marketplace for different sellers and buyers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intelivita initially helped me build templates for our app’s buyer-seller journey before kickstarting the development process. Their team implemented multiple features that allowed users to display product information, accept and reject orders, track deliveries, and relay product concerns. Additionally, they deployed backend solutions that enabled our staff to input buyer and seller credentials to update their profiles.

I mainly worked with their project manager and lead developer.

How did you come to work with Intelivita?

I found their team online while searching for qualified developers to onboard for this project. Intelivita sent me an impressive project proposal, which convinced me that they were the right team to hire for my development needs.

We spent £7,500 (approximately $10,000 USD).

The project ran from May–October 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I couldn’t share any quantitative metrics because the app just went live and wasn’t deployed into any App Store yet. From our perspective, Intelivita delivered our technical needs by producing a specialized B2B app with seamless functionalities. We didn’t find the need to conduct multiple app testings — the product worked like how we envisioned it from the beginning.

How did Intelivita perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicated via Slack and phone calls. Intelivita was a supportive team that listened to our specific needs, met our time frames, and offered post-production services without additional costs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Intelivita proposed concrete solutions from the very beginning. They took full responsibility for our project and proactively met our expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The dates indicated in their proposal were somehow far-fetched — it took us longer to complete the product.

Go the extra mile by designing your wireframes or templates.

I’m a project manager of a construction company. We supply and install garden buildings, log cabins, garden offices, garden rooms, sheds, and some houses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intelivita? 

We needed to develop an internal app that managed communication between the office staff and our installation team. This would help coordinate jobs and information, as well as manage who is on what job and for how long.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intelivita has done both development and design. We sent over our logo and color scheme, and they designed the whole layout. All I provided was an Excel spreadsheet of what we needed to include in each function, and they went from there. The app is for iOS and Android. 

What is the team composition?

Initially, our main point of contact was Oliver (Managing Director), but Deval (Co-Founder) has been managing the build. 

How did you come to work with Intelivita? 

I found a number of companies online and spoke to Oliver. He was really helpful. We chatted through some ideas, and then they set over a presentation of what would be included; it was a detailed proposal. Then, we had a zoom call with my two directors and Oliver, where he outlined everything. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We committed to Intelivita in February 2021, and they delivered the app in June 2021.  We originally completed the app in the middle of May, but then I wanted to add a few extra elements so we worked into June.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m waiting on final confirmation from Apple for the app to be published.

Intelivita was very helpful in that we haven’t had to spoon-feed them. We told them what we wanted the end goal to be functionality-wise, and they created exactly that. They were good at giving advice as well, as we don’t understand technical jargon. 

How did Intelivita perform from a project management standpoint?

We had calls with them pretty much every week, starting in April. Deval kept us up to date and stuck to timelines. We used Basecamp, and everything was on there: calls, schedules, shared documents, general chat, etc. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Intelivita’s customer management stands out. They also have fair prices. Additionally, they communicated well and did so in a manner that we could understand. This is the largest issue I‘ve had with other companies; they don’t know how to communicate with someone who isn’t technical. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very clear about what you want, and don’t worry too much about the design side of things. Be clear on the functionality, as well, and they’ll handle the rest. We did, and it’s worked out very well for us.
