I’m the CEO and co-founder of Neris Ledger, a financial services company. We provide automated bookkeeping, real-time tax insights, and optional CPA oversight to help businesses track profits, tax liabilities, and safe spending.

What challenge were you trying to address with Inspirit Dev?

We needed help building and enhancing Neris Ledger, an AI-powered bookkeeping and tax platform. Our primary goals were to automate bookkeeping, provide real-time tax estimates, develop safe-to-spend features, improve financial accuracy, and integrate essential accounting tools. We also aimed to create a secure, scalable platform that helps small businesses save time, reduce costs, and make better financial decisions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Inspirit Dev has developed automated bookkeeping and AI-powered transaction categorization. The team has also integrated bank accounts and financial data through Plaid, built real-time estimated tax calculations and safe-to-spend features, developed financial dashboards, reporting, and expense tracking, and implemented receipt scanning, transaction reconciliation, and CPA review functionality. Additionally, Inspirit Dev has improved our platform's security, performance, and scalability and tested, troubleshot, and maintained the application.Inspirit Dev has managed both the front- and backend development. Key deliverables include a functional web-based bookkeeping platform, AI-powered transaction categorization and bank integration, an automated tax estimation engine and safe-to-spend dashboard, financial reports, including profit and loss and expense series, receipt management and transaction reconciliation tools, a CPA review and administrative dashboard, and tested, deployed, and operational software with ongoing improvements.

Inspirit Dev's timeliness and quality of work are great. The team has implemented the AI categorization of accounts efficiently and accurately to help with the user experience. Neris Ledger's AI-powered categorization improves accuracy and efficiency by learning from CPA-reviewed transactions. Once a CPA corrects or assigns a transaction category, the system remembers that classification and automatically applies it to future transactions with similar characteristics. This reduces repetitive manual work, improves consistency, minimizes errors, and enhances the user experience. Over time, the system becomes more efficient as it incorporates CPA-validated categorization decisions.

Their team worked closely with our protocol engineers to translate complex agent lifecycle logic into a developer-friendly UI. The scope included:

Discovery: define user flows, technical constraints, and integration points with our connector and onchain registry.

UI/UX Design: high-fidelity mockups and interaction patterns tailored for wallet-based signing, agent permissioning, and sandboxed testing.

Frontend Development: a responsive web app built with React, Tailwind, and Ethers.js.

Custom Agent Sandbox: embedded REPL environment for testing agents before onchain deployment, with simulated task inputs and observable outputs.

Backoffice and API Layer: supportive backend endpoints for agent metadata management, logging, and versioning.

Key deliverables included: production-ready agent console, embedded wallet integration and permission flow, onchain behavior monitor and sandbox, internal handover documentation and scalability recommendations.

Inspirit delivered not only the product but a flexible foundation we’re now using to onboard third-party developers and scale ecosystem participation.

3x faster time-to-deploy for new agents compared to the previous manual CLI process

~80% reduction in onboarding errors, thanks to improved UX and guided configuration

Successful onboarding of the first 100 external agents through the new console within 6 weeks of launch

Enabled real-time observability into onchain agent behavior, which accelerated debugging and protocol improvements

After they picked the best AI provider for our business goals they successfully integrated with Google Document AI and created additional functionality using Java and React. They wrapped everything in an extra microservice that was very easy to integrate with.

Our internal processes and employee routines were improved, saving time for everybody in the accounting department.

Inspirit collaborates using the Agile methodology, seamlessly integrating with our internal development team to form unified, joint teams. During whole development proccess we communicated through a dedicated Slack channel and email chain, ensuring everyone stays connected, and we used Google Meet for our meetings to facilitate effective collaboration.
