I’m a co-founder of a Berlin-based startup.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innoteka?

We were looking for embedded software engineering resources to supplement what we didn't have on our team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They exclusively work on C++ development, including a C++ client for our web status.

What is the team composition?

In total, I interacted with four different developers. On our most recent project we had one resource dedicated to us for almost two years.

How did you come to work with Innoteka?

They got in touch with us as they were reaching out to companies in Berlin. I spoke to the CEO and determined they were the best fit for us. I liked that they’re able to find expert resources on short notice and are also reasonably priced.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we've spent between €25,000–€50,000 (approximately $29,300–$58,600USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2016 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They developed the main client for our technology solution. Its success enabled us to sell the company in January 2018.

How did Innoteka perform from a project management standpoint?

We've been mostly responsible for the project management. When we asked them to sign people or start projects, they’re very quick to respond. They’re also fast to respond to my emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My previous experience with resource firms was that they were difficult to deal with personally or they didn't understand the technology. Innoteka is both exceptionally personable and also has a very deep technological understanding. That's a fairly unique combination. They’re loyal and reliable, so I don't have any complaints.

I’m the technical director for a wind energy company. We focus on automating the industry’s control processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innoteka?

We wanted to develop a multi-platform, automation system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They had a solution that optimizes wind turbine automation, which is run on a single control platform. We wanted to build a system that would allow us to migrate thatsolution from one control platform to another platform easily.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two different people.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between €30,000–€40,000 ($35,103–$46,804 USD)

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2017 until January 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They prototyped the solution very well, and we’re better prepared to run a big project more efficiently than we were beforehand. Once we have the budget, we’ll use them for implementation work on the bigger project.

How did Innoteka perform from a project management standpoint?

We had in-person meetings to go over checkpoints and agree on next steps because we’re in the same city. They always had someone with relevant experience respond quickly and they’re fast learners. They tried to build on another system in which they had a good background.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The project was delivered as expected and I’m satisfied with everything. They understood how to design our future solution for the multi-platform automation system.

I am the CEO of a company that provides natural language processing software tools for international market intelligence.

They helped us develop a demo that would attract customers and investors.

How did you select this vendor?

Innoteka convinced us by their customer centricity and high technical ability. They were proactive, flexible, and professional during the interview process.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Innoteka helped us with the initial development of demos and prototypes for our solution’s frontend, which would present and visualize our data for end users. They did web design and development using AngularJS.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with one project manager, one designer, and two frontend developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The demo they developed helped us successfully attract our first customers. We still use it in customer and investor presentations.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They were results-oriented and timely.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The high quality of their code and thoroughness were impressive.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

They could still improve their visual design.
