What was the scope of their involvement?

ILF Law Firm searched for properties and created a shortlist. The team also arranged property visits with a lawyer and engineer. ILF Law Firm managed the legal process with an Italian geometra to complete the purchase and transfer of deeds. The team also handled price negotiation and technical report issues. Moreover, ILF Law Firm organized all the services in the property to be transferred to our names from day one, including water, electricity, gas, and our solar panel system.

ILF Law Firm helped us negotiate a discount of around €100,000 on the price and achieve a good completion date. The team also helped us navigate the Italian legal process, which was very difficult since we’re from Ireland and speak English. We successfully purchased the property.

ILF was instrumental in communicating with all parties, insuring timely and comprehensive outcomes. They delivered a beneficial tax strategy regarding the purhase of the agriturismo. Amoung other deliverables, they provided a valued legal opinion regarding the position of the property. Most recently submitted a formal offer to purchase on our behalf.
