I'm the co-founder of Surprize Private Ltd. We're a marketing company that gives out samples from our partner brands through our app.

We needed their team to develop our mobile app from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem developed our cross-platform app from scratch; we didn't have anything laid out already. Their team started by designing the app's UX/UI, and we outlined the requirements for each module. Their team added many modules, including a design, account, and home and game screens modules. Once the modules and design were finalized, Hyperlink InfoSystem put together the backend and linked a database to the app. 

The app awards prizes is only available in Singapore. Users complete the simple trivia game we've created and then have access to a spinner wheel to turn to determine which prize they'll get. We then send out the prizes. Users can provide feedback on the prizes they get, which we use to develop reports. We then pass these reports back to our brand partners.

I worked with 5–6 teammates from Hyperlink InfoSystem, but they may have had more individuals work on the project. 

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

I researched mobile app developers and came across positive testimonials from Hyperlink InfoSystem's previous clients. Their pricing was also competitive, so we decided to hire Hyperlink InfoSystem.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $18,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from October 2021–July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app is now live on the Android and Apple app stores. User satisfaction is our key metric, and we haven't had any major complaints from users. Hyperlink InfoSystem delivered a quality app. The project was very successful because their deliverables were good.

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

I interacted daily with Hyperlink InfoSystem's project manager through Skype and email. However, their project management could've been better, but it was still managed well. We used Zoho to track tickets; we still use it now to track bugs. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

In general, our partnership with Hyperlink InfoSystem was very pleasant. Unlike other vendors I've worked with, their team didn't transform every issue into a budget change. Instead, they just rectified the issue and made the change we requested. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No one is perfect, and I'd say that Hyperlink InfoSystem's communication and understanding of the project requirements could be improved. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise customers to be very descriptive and detailed about their project requirements. Customers can't just provide a generalized concept because it leaves too much room for Hyperlink InfoSystem to decipher the information incorrectly.

I'm the CDO at MF&K, a digital product design and branding company that serves as a one-stop-shop for all digital and branding needs. We've been running for about two years and work in about five different time zones that shift throughout the year.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We needed to complete development efforts for one of our client's websites. Our client was a high-end denim and clothing brand that operates in five storefronts plus an online presence. We had created the first version of their website 5–6 years ago, and they approached us to redo it.

We staffed the project by reaching out to various contractors to see who could step into the fold. One of our developers needed to step off the project when we still had a substantial amount of backlog tasks to be completed, so we hired Hyperlink InfoSystem.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem took over the development of our client's website. The site was about halfway complete when they came on board, and the project manager and I devised a process that could work for our needs. We had done mood boards and wireframes that were approved by the client and moved on to the development phase. 

On our side, we created a series of prioritized tickets for them to work on each week and develop the site against the designs we had already created. One developer from our previous provider stuck around and worked with them on the DevOps side during the first month.

The design-heavy site required robust changes from breakpoint to breakpoint, from a 27-inch monitor to a mobile phone. There are a couple of additional breakpoints on the tablet size that needed to be developed that extended to six breakpoints. We handled this with a back and forth; we would stretch the browser, see what was responding, and then they would make comments. The team also worked to customize a free backend system. At the end of each day, they would populate a message that included the detail of which tickets they had targeted.

We worked with five people from Hyperlink InfoSystem, including a project manager, two backend developers, and one frontend developer.

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

My partner knew one of Hyperlink InfoSystem's founders and recommended them when we were trying to pick an agency to work with. We had a few conversations with them about numbers and timing, and we decided to move forward with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $3,500 per resource for the first month, for 40 hours a week. Since we had three resources in that first month, we spent $10,500. For the second month, the project manager worked part-time, and we added two more developers to the mix, so we paid around $19,000. In total, we spent less than $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I've worked as a designer for over 10 years and have worn every hat, so I'm a stickler when it comes to the visuals and functionality of a website. I measure Hyperlink InfoSystem's success based on how the site looks and functions compared to how I designed it and denoted the functionality request. Their development build matches the original visual comps, as does the functionality. 

Some other things that stand out to me are the pages' load time, the site's stability, and instances when the team made functionality edits without my direction with sound thinking. They came up with dev solutions not documented in my comps that were very good, and I hadn't even thought of them. 

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

I would give them high marks for project management. The project was a tall order from the start because the backend system we used isn't built to do much of what we customized it to do. Therefore, we didn't set up the project expecting to see it be fully completed; it was always a matter of how much we could get done and how well according to our timeline and budget. The fact that the team got the site to a logical state with minor CSS styling changes merits high marks. 

We came up with a sprint cadence according to our timing, budget, and the resources on hand. Together, we devised a plan considering our timezone difference to be on the same page because we had to work fast.

When it came to talking clearly and straightforwardly, things went in the right direction, so I had no major complaints. However, we faced challenges on the communication side due to our language barrier. We had a Slack channel to centralize all communications, and we would check in one day a week in the first month and then three days a week in the second month as things ramped up with DevOps. We used Linear as an online tacking tool, which was very useful for populating tasks. When we had meetings, we used Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed that Hyperlink InfoSystem could match the design style. The design was done in hard baseline eight; I set up the site on an eight-by-eight pixel grid system, which created a large number of odd spacings between the elements based on the bounding boxes of text frames. They were able to address the breakpoint needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We could have improved our alignment on what was reflected in their local environment compared to our own staging environment. This might have mitigated some back and forth. With our difference in timezones, we lost some time because we would sometimes need changes at the end of the day for them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to align with Hyperlink InfoSystem on week one. Make sure both parties have a successful process moving forward, and don't make any assumptions about how they might work compared to you.

If you have some particulars you might want to see implemented into the process, make sure to communicate. With us, the team was very flexible. They were easy to work with, effective, receptive, and responsive to requests. As long as you communicate and agree on a process, you'll be just fine.

I’m the co-founder of ArtsNGlory. Our platform is basically an NFT marketplace for buying and selling art pieces using cryptocurrency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem has helped us build a website and mobile application for our platform from scratch. They use Solidity and Node.js for the site and have made an iOS and Android version of the app. They’ve also helped us in connecting and integrating wallets into our platform using OpenCV.

We started working together around October 2021, and our engagement is still ongoing. We actually plan to continue working with them for the next four or five years because we recently found an investor.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve delivered to us a bug-free product, which we’re very happy about. We’ve also conducted a few demos with internal friends and are still waiting for more results. However, as of now, the website and app are functioning smoothly, and we’re having a pretty good experience working with their team.

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve handled the core part of the project really well. Initially, they gave us an SRS document for our review to prevent any confusion and mistakes. We communicate over iMessage, WhatsApp, email, Skype, and Jira.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their communication, knowledge of key technologies, and ability to deliver a bug-free product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’ll be much easier if they had a development team based in the US, but they’ll probably charge more money for their services.

Work with them — they’re an amazing and trustworthy team that always gives their best. Also, make sure to give them the freedom to do their work.

We had a number of discovery meetings and we provided them our high level goals and application flow. We have also been working with them for continuous development and enhancements on our application. We strive to provide them with clear flow needs of the application and back end along with screenshots to assist the developers with our overall vision.

We have worked with a Sales Rep, then a technical project manager was assigned along with 2 developers. One developer for our front end development and another for the back end development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We started the initial project in February of 2021. We were initially told that it would take 3-4 months from start to finish before we could be live. We had a number of testing issues and overall design misses so the project did not go live until June 2022. We have also contracted with them to do a number of additional enhancements and ongoing support. The team when they are working does a fantastic job, however we have seen a drastic decline in support for our project despite buying more time and hours.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management has been ok. They use Zoho projects, email and google docs. The communication could use some improvement as we found working in technical documents within emails became clunky. Once we moved the team to our internal ClickUp instance everything has been moving a lot smoother and cleaner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The CEO is very active and has been great to work with. I also find that their development is very good once you can lock down the team to focus on specific tasks.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Communication and overall customer experience would be great. As I have mentioned the project took much longer than expected, however I can chalk that up to our revisions, potential scope creep and attention to detail so not completely the fault of the company. However we find that continued work and development is spotty from a time perspective. This may likely be that the developers are also on other projects which I understand, but communication stating that would be good and expectations on when they can reengage would be all we ask for. Again the Dev team is GREAT, when they actually work on your project.

Their work is brilliant, and the communication with the project manager and the developers is going great. We’re still in the development phase, so we are also brainstorming from our side and having many many discussions back and forth with them. Hyperlink InfoSystem is kind enough to come up with very good solutions based on their experience. That's why we are very happy with our decision to hire them.

They’ve been doing great so far. I can communicate with them any time when I’m available and have direct access to the project manager. We’re also a part of their project management tool, so we also get updates.

We’ve had no issues. Their team works eight hours a day, and I get daily reports.

4 Horses is the first 360’ platform for the horse world and I make it free for all. We had lots of shares during the jumping shows. We wanted to give our services to all equestrians. COVID-19 changed our world a lot and it becomes very important to remain connected all together on a platform like this.

First, they start with the understanding of what kind of app I wanted to develop. I know that the Horse world is not easy to understand when you don’t have any experience. They delivered me a beta app with various versions to verify the app flow and with minor changes, they developed a platform to satisfy my business idea.

Taxi app development is our basic need to launch our business in this digital world. The app will help us to automate many manual processes like online taxi booking, tracking drivers, managing payments, verifying registered driver details in just a few taps, and many more.

We are impressed with the experience of Hyperlink InfoSystem in taxi app development as they developed more than hundreds of apps for taxi businesses worldwide. We requested a demo of some apps to get an idea about more features for our app, and they shared some documents and reference apps developed by Hyperlink InfoSystem.

Their team designed wireframes and user interfaces for customer and driver apps as the first step of the project. We have approved the designs with minor changes and they started to prototype and development. Deliverables are Android and iOS apps for customers and drivers, a web admin panel with admin and super admin access. They are working on one page web design for our business and it will be live in next 15 days.

We don’t have an exact idea about the number of resources, but at least a team of 15 people worked on our project. We communicate with the project manager, and account manager to check for updates on development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Hyperlink Infosystem shared all coding files and deliverables last week only for the final test from our team. Earlier, we used manual processes to manage all business operations, and this system helped us to migrate all bookings, customers, and drivers' details to the online platform. Hyperlink InfoSystem team is taking online sessions with our team to explain how the system works. Our team is excited to learn and start work on the platform soon.

Hyperlink InfoSystem’s project management style is quite impressive. The project manager was handling multiple projects at the same time but never disappointed us with our expectations. They wanted happy clients, and it was visible in their work style.

We needed some major changes in payment gateways and processes during the development stage, and they manage it in the best possible way. They used a custom project management tool built by their team for internal use only to manage hours and tasks for the development team. We used Google Meet, Skype, and WhatsApp for communication and emails to exchange any information in writing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with their professionalism and commitment to the clients. They committed us to complete the project in 4 months, developed the custom app from scratch and delivered bug-free solution in four and half months which is beyond our expectation.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Hyperlink InfoSystem developed the application from scratch only. If they provide readymade solutions for the taxi and other services, it will be budget-friendly and possibly deliver in a short timeframe. Overall I am satisfied with the deliverables and didn't find any major points for improvement.

We are planning to launch a kind of social networking app that connects people who are traveling to the same destination and at the same time. I have asked my team to check and shortlist the final vendor from all five vendors we selected for our tech needs.

We discussed our idea business analyst team after NDA to finalize the scope of work for our idea. They discussed all requirements on call and suggested a few additional features that attract more audiences to the app. They prepared the doc with all functionalities and wireframes of the apps before signing the contract.

Our project assigned to Mr. Parth, Project Manager of Hyperlink Infosystem who curated the development strategy. As wireframes were ready, they started with UI/UX designs for the app. It takes almost a week to complete all screens and approved by our team.

Next, they worked on a app prototype to understand the workflow. The team started working on the development stage just after finishing the prototype. They scheduled weekly calls with our team to share completed tasks and asked for feedback. In some cases, they also show a demo to our team on how the app works and perform all features in real-time to identify the issues and solve them. Deliverables for our platform will be Android and iOS apps, a website, a web-based admin panel, and all design files and codes.

The project manager is the contact point for us to communicate all time during development. For an initial discussion, we communicated with Business Development Manager and the Business Analysts team.

During the development stage, we have worked with 15 people including a project manager, team leader, senior app developers, backend developers, UI/UX designers, web designers, and testers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

With the prototype of an app developed by Hyperlink InfoSystem, we have raised good funding from investors. We are planning to launch the app this July and current development work is already going on as planned. They are working on final bug fixing tasks and are ready to deliver in the next 15 days.

The project manager is very polite and well-experienced in the process of development. He reviewed the Scope of Work document first, then curated the development strategy and defined different milestones. He managed the whole team and checked for updates daily.

They used Zoho project management tools to plan and manage all tasks for resources with hours. The project manager and team worked beyond our expectations, completed each task in the given timeline and delivered the app builds to test as planned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are impressed with the skills and knowledge of their developers. Some challenging tasks needed extra efforts, but their technical experts researched and created various algorithms to complete the tasks in a given timeline.

The project manager also not failed to impress us with his project management skills. He is always available to answer us and resolve any issue during development with his expertise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am the founder of Parachoot. a unique photo and video sharing social media platform. Where you can create, upload, share and interact with the people you love in a unique way.

We have hired Hyperlink InfoSystem to build a unique social media app where people can share photos and videos, chat with friends, go live, and connect with there loved ones.

I searched for top mobile app developers on Clutch and Hyperlink InfoSystem was ranked number one, so i visited their website and do some research on there experience, number of team etc, and one of the key deciding factor was there portfolio. i looked for similar project and i was satisfied with what i saw, then i went ahead to contact them.

After they gathered all the required information from us, they defined the scope of work, cost and estimated the delivery timeframe. Key deliverables were Android and iOS apps and a web Admin Panel. and the technologies used was also defined my Hyperlink InfoSystem. some of them are swift, kotlin, aws, xcode, MySQL/MongoDB etc. Here are the steps they followed. I believe there were a big team working on my project. but my point of contact are my Project Manager and Sales Manager throughout the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very satisfied with the deliveries, as Hyperlink InfoSystem exceeded our expectations. after the app was launched, our users loved it. we received a lot of positive feedback from our user, on the eye catchy UI and it's very easy to use.

When it comes to project management, i will give them a 5 star rating because my project manager exceeded all my expectation. he is very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful throughout the project. he understands the project and provides helpful suggestions when needed. Project manager and team were able to overcome all challenges and meet all our expectations.

My project manager communicated with me all the time to give me updates about the app progress and to make sure we are in the same track. We used Skype, Gmail and WhatsApp for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their style of work, there ability to adapt to any change you made during development. they also work together as a team, from the designers, to developer to QA team, to web developer, is amazing. I had an amazing experience working with Hyperlink InfoSystem.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We know that developing a complex app from scratch is not an easy task, but my project manager and the team were able to exceed all our expectations and we are satisfied and happy with the deliveries.
