We had a number of discovery meetings and we provided them our high level goals and application flow. We have also been working with them for continuous development and enhancements on our application. We strive to provide them with clear flow needs of the application and back end along with screenshots to assist the developers with our overall vision.

We have worked with a Sales Rep, then a technical project manager was assigned along with 2 developers. One developer for our front end development and another for the back end development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We started the initial project in February of 2021. We were initially told that it would take 3-4 months from start to finish before we could be live. We had a number of testing issues and overall design misses so the project did not go live until June 2022. We have also contracted with them to do a number of additional enhancements and ongoing support. The team when they are working does a fantastic job, however we have seen a drastic decline in support for our project despite buying more time and hours.

The project management has been ok. They use Zoho projects, email and google docs. The communication could use some improvement as we found working in technical documents within emails became clunky. Once we moved the team to our internal ClickUp instance everything has been moving a lot smoother and cleaner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The CEO is very active and has been great to work with. I also find that their development is very good once you can lock down the team to focus on specific tasks.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Communication and overall customer experience would be great. As I have mentioned the project took much longer than expected, however I can chalk that up to our revisions, potential scope creep and attention to detail so not completely the fault of the company. However we find that continued work and development is spotty from a time perspective. This may likely be that the developers are also on other projects which I understand, but communication stating that would be good and expectations on when they can reengage would be all we ask for. Again the Dev team is GREAT, when they actually work on your project.

They delivered me a beta app with various versions to verify the app flow and with minor changes, they developed a platform to satisfy my business idea.

They used a custom project management tool built by their team for internal use only to manage hours and tasks for the development team. We used Google Meet, Skype, and WhatsApp for communication and emails to exchange any information in writing.

My project manager communicated with me all the time to give me updates about the app progress and to make sure we are in the same track. We used Skype, Gmail and WhatsApp for communication.

Before hiring them, we have taken their team’s interview to make sure we have chosen the right partner for our idea. With the rough idea, I have contacted them. Mr. Darshan from Business Development Team helped me to schedule a meeting with their technical team who prepared the Scope of Work document for our requirement. I expected Android and iOS apps as deliverables but after discussion, they added the admin panel, restaurants panel, and website to the list of deliverables.
We have signed the contract to start the project first, then they assign us a project manager Mr. Uresh and a team of designers and developers. First, they deliver the wireframe and prototype and after our approval, they start development. Generally, we discussed progress with the team on weekly basis, and they were always ready to present us with some new tasks completed without any errors.
Before sending any file to us, their QA team test it twice for the issues. We are almost completed with the project and after two weeks our maintenance and support time will start.

We have already attracted a wide range of restaurants to register on our app using email marketing and personal meetings in Charleston, SC.

As a project manager, Mr. Uresh helped us in the development of our dream app idea and manage every stage smoothly. We have given access to Zoho project management tools in which the whole assigned team shares updates daily about the progress of development. We were not able to find any loophole in communication during the development stage. The project manager understands everything and shared it with the team to plan the development tasks. For communication, we used WhatsApp, Skype, and email.

Their expertise in the demanding industry is very impressive. They suggested us some amazing and unique features and also helped us to improve our app workflow to get success in the market. If one with an idea of any type of on-demand app, I recommend them to discuss it once with Hyperlink InfoSystem for sure.

It will be good if they give at least six months of maintenance support. Their code quality is a very nice and clean and developed solution without any bugs. In our case, limited time for maintenance and support is fine as we are working on the second phase of development soon.
