Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of HR at the largest rice importer in the UAE. We have headquarters all over the world.

What challenge were you trying to address with HTrust?

When I joined the company, there was no HR system, so we needed assistance from HTrust. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

HTrust has helped us establish HR policies and handbooks. At the start of the partnership, they helped us find HR software. HTrust’s team set up demonstrations with 5–6 software providers and then helped us decide which one to choose. 

Once that was complete, they helped us set up standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for our procedures. Amandeep (Founder & CEO) also helped us define disciplinary practices and set up organizational charts and job descriptions. 

Ammandeep regularly evaluates our KPIs to help with company processes. They also help us recruit new teammates and improve employee and employer engagement.

We work with Ammandeep, a business analyst, and a recruiter.

My boss told me about them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invest 5,000 Emirati Dirhams (approximately $1,300 USD) monthly. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership began in October 2021. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

HTrust has added a lot of value to our business — we plan to have a lifelong partnership with them. We have amazing HR practices, and the new HR management system has made everything easier for us since all the HR information is in a single portal. Every part of our HR setup has been refined. 

How did HTrust perform from a project management standpoint?

HTrust delivers ahead of schedule and makes sure to be very timely. We can call their team at any time, and they’ll return our call within a few minutes or a few hours. Our teammates meet with HTrust regularly — we use Microsoft Teams and Zoom to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

HTrust is very easygoing and approachable. We know we can trust them to deliver. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is nothing for them to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Customers can totally rely on HTrust because their team is trustworthy and can optimize customer processes.

We have hired HTrust to build and develop our HR Department and Team, set the best practices and standard operating procedures in place, as well as ensure everything is streamlined through an HRMS. HTrust is also managing talent management, people development, and other vital verticals in HR.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We were referred to HTrust by one of our manufacturers who has worked with the company. We met with HTrust and aligned on what needed to be done in the HR Department.
