We engaged them to work with us for our social media strategy for airasia Super App and also creative guardianship on our social channels.

We engaged them based on our ability to connect through similiar ideologies.

After we completed a previous project (strategy), we put that into motion by ourselves and eventually decided to bring Hey Honey back in to work alongside our in-house team that included aspects such as creative shots, weekly check-ins, briefing and concepts.

We worked with at least 3 to 4 people that ranged from account management, to creative direction and content strategy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hey Honey delivered a social content strategy for airasia Super App and in 2022 the agency worked on the creative guardianship for the brand providing recommendations and optimizing their content for social media. The team previously delivered a playbook for our social team and has produced some ideas to support our content roll-out and approach.

The project aimed to elevate the brand, make it lifestyle-relevant, trendy and to an extent less promo driven on social media. It was also a great opportunity to enter a new chapter, following the post-Covid new reality, to recommend less but better content, and to encourage the production of innovative formats.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had regular meetings with the team and it was always done in a collaborative manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are impressed by their understanding of the social landscape and ability to think outside of the box. They provided creative shots, consultancy, and ideation to bring to life.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A much sharper understanding of the Asian market would have helped with bringing ideas to life, but that’s not to say that the ideas did not spark local thoughts within our team. Overall, they were collaborative.

WaterBear is an impact-led content creator, campaigner and distributor; and offers a range of digital on- demand and linear media products globally. WaterBear specialises in strorytelling that is both educational and entertaining, designed to grow and inspire a community across the world.

My role is Senior Manager, Marketing and I look after our brand and growth marketing. Ensuring our marketing creative and strategy is aligned with our wider mission to build an engaged community of earth stewards, driving measurable impact to protect and regenerate all life on our planet.

We worked with Hey Honey on a retainer to execute social content for our organic channels. Most of the service was for social first trailers and teasers of our content/ films/ docs.

We heard about Hey Honey through our head of marketing when we initially started the business and the key deciding factors was their previous clients.

We worked throughout the last two years on multiple projects but the ongoing trailer creation was the bulk of this.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hey Honey produced Video trailers on a monthly basis for our films and created new social content following regular briefings so that we would be more creative with our content and engage our user base.

We were delighted to work with Hey Honey and their input meant that we were able to pursue a more creative route. We also worked with the team to experiment with new campaigns, including a creator-led project where new social media content was produced in line with our strategic goals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very effective. We've had constant and seamless communication with our account manager and regular feedback sessions. We were able to take work with Hey Honey in a way that all deadlines were met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are most enthusiastic about their account manager and seamless communication, we felt that our account manager was really supportive!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The team could have delivered a little more creativity, although this was not absolutely key to our brief, we could have seen a few more ideas.
