BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of an electric vehicle manufacturer in Guntur, India. Our company manufactures electric bicycles which are reliable and unique. We presently serve the region of Andhra Pradesh and I oversee the overall operations and build strategic plans to accomplish our goals.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Haunc?

Our company has accomplished the stages of research and prototyping of our electric bicycle. We have entered into manufacturing section and will reach our goal by a few months. We have decided to market our product and realised a video commercial ad would be the best way to communicate with the audience about our product. So we have decided to outsource this video commercial ad to Haunc.

What were your goals for this project?

As we are a startup we have realised that we should reach a larger section of the audience, and our product should be known to a larger audience and increase our customer engagement. We have decided to publish and distribute the video commercial ad across social media channels and third-party publishers.

How did you select this vendor?

My PR team has started searching online and through some multiple media channels in our region and collected a list of few companies based on the service details on their websites. After contacting every company on our list we have selected this company based on the portfolio, quality of their service, budget, and most importantly their communication with clients which is truly appreciated.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Once we both companies collaborated and started working for this video commercial ad, they started to know more about our vision, goals, and our product. After a few discussions, we have finalized the script and concept of our ad. The end product is a set of two videos, an introduction video like a teaser about our company and product, and a marketing video explaining our product's unique features and specifications. This video would not majorly feature any actors instead, it would only showcase the product highlights.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They have provided us with creative directors and strategists to work on our ad. We have worked together in finalizing the concept of the ad and production stages of the video. After finalizing concept they have provided us many rough drafts which we are able to send feedback on.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The production of the ad is going on, and as far as the work is completed we are very satisfied with the outcome and welcomed their work and results. It would take a few more days to complete the production and I am sure we will get the desired outcome.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we have been assigned was quite easy to communicate and provided with frequent updates. Their team have given us a clear idea about the timeline of the project and have sometimes missed the date, but gave us a quality output even they were late. Overall I am very impressed with the output of their work, but they failed to meet the deadline which happened once but with the desired quality output.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are blown away and are very impressed with their creative thinking which we required from them. We got much more quality and unique video than what we wanted. Our company will certainly engage and work with this company for any video ads in the future.T

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are a little slow in finalizing things and would always look for a better quality, which helped us in reaching our vital quality video ad, but we are very satisfied as far as the work is going on. Quality is more important for a long-lasting impact.
