I’m the founder of Topbeat, an online music school. We teach music to kids in an online medium.

What challenge were you trying to address with HabileLabs?

We wanted to develop a CRM for our school to manage tickets and customer queries, solve them effectively, respond promptly to them, and track each agent’s performance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

HabileLabs developed our CRM. The entire goal of the process was to ensure we got all the tickets across channels like email, WhatsApp, and calls. The tickets would be added to the CRM, and our agents would be able to look at them and respond to customers promptly to increase our customer service.

We mostly worked on Python; they developed a simple web application that was only accessible to our internal company. Initially, we provided them with the details, and they built it from scratch.

We worked with three teammates: a full stack engineer, a junior backend developer, and a junior frontend developer.

How did you come to work with HabileLabs?

I found them on Google.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent roughly $15,000–$18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from May–December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We mainly looked at the timing and delivery of the project; it was a six-month project, and they more or less completed it in time. There were three additional weeks, but it was okay.

How did HabileLabs perform from a project management standpoint?

We created a Google Sheet to track everything throughout the process. Additionally, we mainly used WhatsApp for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very cost-effective, and the team was pretty much on time for everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The cost is acceptable, but they hire many junior developers, so they could improve the quality of the code.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re good with basic projects, but I’m not sure how they are with more advanced ones. If you want to develop something that isn’t directly consumer-facing, HabileLabs is a good option.

We have been working with Habilelabs for more than 6 years in projects ranging from web development, Custom software development and mobile applications.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Knowing that Habilelabs had an expertise in the areas we are focusing on together with a very good customer facing management, we decided to work with Habilelabs and we are still happy for our choice!

Most web appplications were developed in technologies such as node.js, angular.js as well as native ios and android. From the whole software lifecycle, we are working closely with Habilelabs in the requirements gathering and analysis, move on with UX from Habilelabs team and working then agile to have the deliverables.

We have worked with a team of 10 people. 1 project manager, 1 ux, 2 front end developers, 6 back-end developers

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since all of our projects are client focused and targeted to users working daily on the software, we have seen that all customers are satisfied and in combination with reviews in our apps, we have seen an increase in the demand of services.

Habilelabs is always open to work with tools that make collaboration and communication easy for the management of projects. Tools used are Jira,Confluence, Figma, Trello.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their client facing approach and dedication in offering the best services possible are unique about Habilelabs. Also the culture, values and work ethics are exactly what is needed in order to have a successful project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, after so many years of collaboration we have seen that the way we are working together has brought us the best results.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We went by reference of my friend, who has availed their services earlier. Deciding factors were Technical Competency and Availability of Skilled Team.

We cannot divulge the project details becaue of strict NDA with our customers. We engaged Habilelabs at Pre-Sales stage through Hyperare.

We succesully deployed the Application. And now it's in Support Mode.

It was highly efficient. Flat organization enabled us to have free exchange of ideas and concepts. We were able to monitor the deliverables. Helped us in timely course correction.

HabileLabs' members are technical experts, and their can-do attitude makes all the difference.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They need to invest in project management tool for effective time tracking.
